@EricKleefeld It's what's known as "the Trump thank-you" -- sort of like the Bronx cheer. He gives it out freely to those who have sold their souls to the Devil to help him out.
@AP How did the stenographer hear that there was no apostrophe? People sometimes say "Quote . . . Unquote," but I've never heard anyone say "apostrophe" or "no apostrophe."
@BGrueskin@davidfolkenflik This is a tragedy for a newspaper that depends much more on subscriptions than it did generations ago. There must be a better way to convince or punish Bezos without diminishing the capabilities of the Post. Meanwhile, focus on defeating the autocrat whom he so pitifully fears.
@NicolleDWallace Can you post (or where can I find) that short clip showing J.D. Vance's attack on supposed Democratic rhetoric and Trump using the exact language cited by Vance?
They aren't illegal, they didn't "descend" upon a town, and they're not destroying anyone's way of life.
What would destroy our American way of life is if this kind of lying, bigotry, demagoguery, and incitement were to prevail. We cannot let that happen.
Never Trump.
@MeghanMcCain We progressives who disagreed with Sen. McCain on most issues nevertheless greatly admired and were enormously grateful for his decision to preserve Obamacare. We feel the same about both Cheneys' decision to vote for Harris. If you find that "objectively hilarious," so be it.
@ScottJenningsKY@CNN Others have pointed out the joint interviews that most past nominees have done with their running mates. I'll just point out that neither CNN nor any other news outlet with ever think it worthwhile to interview Scott Jennings alone and not on a panel with others.
@matthewjdowd My respect for the Editorial Board has never been the same ever since I watched that episode of The Weekly showing them deciding on their (two) 2020 endorsements for Democratic nominee.
@murphymike The first thing that comes to my mind is Trump saying “This is just the way I am. I hate my opponent. I hate my opponents.” https://t.co/oSzYIcEvCc
@Acyn It's a good question because, of course, there is no such evidence. At the same time, we do know that it is possible for a person whose daughter is married to a Jewish man to somehow be anti-semitic.
@GarrettHaake I'm old enough to remember that the Clinton campaign unfortunately forced Kaine to be an aggressive attack dog instead of his normal appealing self in his debate with Pence.
@Acyn The test really isn't whether he CAN win, is it? It's what are the odds, and are those odds good enough, compared to other qualified candidates? The nomination for a second term isn't a reward bestowed by the party for good performance. That may sting, but politics ain't beanbag.
