@MagnusHeystek I used to be into the cr¥pt0 scene, but more and more I realize how fundamentally immature these markets are. One or two big players can totally skew things. It's insane.
@ares7210@NkunziEmnyama1 @dwaine_van @ErnstRoets Agree with the first part of this. I work in education, and our wealthy parents, irrespective of race, are feeling the pull to overseas.
DisChem is a smokescreen for the fact that, in 28 years, a politically all-powerful black elite hasn't been able to secure better lives for its loyal constituents, and relies instead on punitive policies to put a meaty thumb on the scale and make the figures look better #Dischem
@PresidencyZA you going to show up to the water crisis in the most important city in your country, sir? Or too busy putting together a band of merry men with your bros Putin and MBS?

@timothyjejarvis Stubbs was apparently so obsessed with the anatomy of horses that he ran a rather grisly chop-shop of horse carcasses in a barn, elevating and posing them the in attitudes he needed for his works. Such an incredible artist
I remember this tactic. In the late 80s and early 90s the apartheid government dragged me to court more than a dozen times on frivolous charges & libel suits to intimidate me because I was publishing the truth about police atrocities and abuse of power by a racist regime.
For what it's worth as a part-time art writer, I stand by @karynmaughan in her court battle against Zuma. I echo the call that @MYANC must release a statement distancing itself from Zuma's attack on journalism. #IStandWithKarynMaughan
Todays court case is not just Jacob Zuma vs Karyn Maughan. It’s Jacob Zuma vs democracy and media freedom. Karyn is representing every South African ( excluding the criminals)
South Africans must stand with Karyn as the thug from Nkandla wants to take away your democracy
@GvanOnselen What reallly irritates me is the absolute lack of urgency around service delivery. SA politics at every level is about brazen desire for access to power. The DA is the only party to prove that it delivers. The ONLY debate we should be having is "what can your party deliver?"
