@ProducerDrew_@CanesConvert It's a simulation with parameters that have a degree of variance. A different sample of simulated games is generated each time, which is why the stats fluctuate.
@MikeBartner Think MacK takes a bit of a hit to his confidence that takes a while to overcome after this? Or does he successfully channel it to ratchet up his intensity to higher levels than ever.
@MikeBartner@Lightn1ngStr1k3 1 goal (4 nations), 0 assists in the four biggest games of his career is a brutal statline though. And it looks much rougher because it's such a big difference compared to his typical production.
@amato_mike He's a great player and was great offensively but had two egregious plays. Obviously the play on Boldy, but also an egregious turnover in the high slot to Nelson that could have cost Canada the game earlier.
9 out of 10 times, MacKinnon scores into the semi-open net. Breakaways by McDavid and Celebrini, 2 1-timers from the hashmarks by Celebrini, save on the goal line by McAvoy. Canada played phenomenally. Every once in a while, it’s someone else’s turn. Proud of 🍁.
@JFreshHockey Do you think Nate's pace will similarly come down? Obviously the delta between his average sh% and this season's isn't nearly as large, but still considerable
@sabre_talk@23sabres The Avs also have by far the best record against the East in the NHL (14-4-2). They're points % is inflated by playing in the West, but they've still been far better against the East than any Eastern team
