We have to grab more kids from the jump (5th, 6th grade) and mold their mentalities and expectations. After school programs, cyo teams, travel sports teams all need to be more progressive. Each program should include an academic aspect and a social development aspect.

I don’t know what’s going on but this is not college basketball. I’m all 4 kids being empowered but it’s more kids being spoiled. A lot of entitlement going around in this business of college sports. Life skills > sports skills. Not enough voices speaking on this because of $$$.

And THEN, you wonder why kids aren’t developing all around. On and off the court. People are being hired based on their ability to get the next kid instead of their ability to take care of the kids on campus.

Shoutout to any coach or administrator that sees themselves as educators.
And all kids should be competitive and want the best for themselves. But constantly chasing a better situation will lead to an empty life. The “better” bar is alwags moving.

Let’s talk about it! We are killing these kids. Destroying the people who are supposed to take care of us when we get older. I never seen someone get nice because the facility cost a million dollars. All these army of academic advisors and personnel and we cant help these kids?
