Signals from the Periphery is back, rebuilt from the ground up. The declassified UAP files including the latest PURSUE Release 03, the books, the testimony, the science, read one at a time. Each one summarised, quoted, and linked to the original. No verdicts. We read them. You decide what they mean.

GLM 5.2 is the real deal. Strongest open model out, near Opus on a few coding benchmarks. But caught up to Opus is not caught up to frontier. Opus 4.8 is not the top of the stack. And fraction of the cost compares a model to a product. A $200 Max sub is not just tokens. It is Code, Cowork and Design.
Respect the take, Patrick, but I land the other way. Disclosure Day is the most ufology-literate film Spielberg has made, and that's exactly why it works.
The part people call generic is the point. This isn't Close Encounters nostalgia. The film's cover-up runs through private contractors (Wardex), not the military, which mirrors Grusch's 2023 testimony almost beat for beat. The two leads are experiencers with telepathy and empathic abilities, so Spielberg finally brings the abduction and contact side into the canon he tiptoed around in 1977. And the beings are built off the 1994 Ariel School encounter in Zimbabwe, telepathic contact with kids, the case John Mack actually investigated. That's current ufology on screen, not little green men.
I'll grant the fair knocks. A couple of blockbuster beats creak, and the ending splits people, too sentimental for some, too abrupt for others. Whichever camp you're in, that's a last-twenty-minutes problem, not a film problem.
Where it counts, accuracy to the actual testimony, the experiencer angle, Janusz Kamiński and John Williams doing career-level work, it delivers. 'Pretty good' undersells it. It's the most serious mainstream UFO film since 1977, warts and all.
Gets compared to the Skywatcher 'Jellyfish' (Class VII): white form, bulbous 2m head, 3 to 5m tendrils that move independent of the wind, serpentine path, a 'seeking' head, and a localised area effect on electronics. This one reads chrome with a solid black drip, not the white undulating profile. It reads more like a damaged Mylar balloon or a melted ornament.
@interesting_aIl NEO, by Neuracle/Tsinghua. It rests 8 electrodes on the dura rather than penetrating the cortex like Neuralink. Approval is narrowly scoped to spinal injury patients 18 to 60 with some residual arm function, driving a soft robotic glove.
@SpacedExplained It's a Green Bank Telescope (NSF) radio discovery, not NASA. The genuinely real "translation" is the radio pulse train turned into sound, a 716 Hz tone. The discovery write-up even nicknamed it "a neutron star in F-sharp."
@oais_ai@plutos_eth Apple's M4 Max roughly doubles these at 546 GB/s, and the M3 Ultra adds about half again on top at 819. Worth noting Apple quietly dropped the 512GB Mac Studio in March, so even the Ultra now caps at 256GB. On bandwidth, it's still the one to beat.
Fair, and you're sharpening the exact point. AARO's 2024 Historical Record Vol 1 backs it: after AAWSAP was cancelled, 'AATIP' was just an informal moniker with no dedicated budget or personnel. Lynn declined the SAP on Clapper's recommendation. Lacatski ran the funded side, not Elizondo. The popular through-line collapses once you split the contract from the nickname.
@cb_doge Musk catching up on AI coding tools. With Cursor's ARR past $4B and a mostly elite-engineer user base, it slots a top coding product into the Musk AI stack rather than the launch business.
The third batch of government UAP files is open, and we have read all of it.
PURSUE Release 03 cleared on 12 June: 53 documents and 10 images from the CIA, FBI, NASA and the Department of War, spanning 1948 to 2026. Army flying-disc studies. A 1953 CIA science panel. Spy-plane histories. Astronaut debriefings. A 2008 airport incident in Zimbabwe.
Fourteen new briefings, each linked to the original.

@Kabamur_Taygeta The lower eye reads as the third eye, awareness opening. The wings feel like the astral body or the moment of emergence and ascension. The nodal circles suggest chakras or points within the living energy field, sometimes even a visual echo of DNA or the morphic field activating.
@Cointelegraph The govt says it found a jailbreak in Fable 5 and ordered both Mythos-class models pulled for foreign nationals. Anthropic says it got no specifics and the flaw isn’t serious. The patch is the falsifiable bit. If it ships and controls stay, that tells you more than the talks did.
Real project, wrong picture. The NUDT mosquito drone that aired on CCTV-7 in June 2025 is a thin stick-body held between two fingers. This clip, four spread wings and a segmented metallic body, doesn't match the actual reveal.
The numbers check out (2cm, under 0.3g). The photo doesn't.
@D14nd0nlyAce@CuriosityonX Straight from the lab that ran it. Emergence AI's writeup of the Emergence World study (May 2026), Satya Nitta and team. Full per-model breakdown and the crime charts are in there:
