@YanagitaRon Opportunists? What special rewards do you think there are for being Catholic on Twitter? Why do you keep calling us email scammers? Is it really that hard to believe Nigerians can make an honest living and simply enjoy sharing their faith on twitter? Why are you so condescending?
hey guys,
this is the first time i’m asking for help on twitter 😭
my dad is having his first ever solo art exhibition at the national museum, lagos.
it’ll mean a lot to me and to him if you could spare some time to come around, if you’re a lover of art.
details are below 🙏🏽
He was only 14 years old and his last words were: "¡Viva Cristo Rey!".
During the Cristero War, 14-year-old José Sánchez del Río was captured by government forces. They told him he could go home if he just shouted "Death to Christ."
He refused. To break him, soldiers sliced the skin off the soles of his feet and forced him to walk to the cemetery over salt and stones.
At the edge of his grave, they gave him one last chance. The boy shouted "Viva Cristo Rey!" before he was executed.
He was no victim, he was more of a man that most are nowadays. He died a martyr's death, with faith and honor.
Saint José Sánchez del Río pray for us!
Wife sitting and reading a book, 2 kids playing on the grass and you, grilling burger patties and hot dogs with a napkin over your shoulder and a cold bottle in one hand.
My friend didn't believe me when I said Catholicism is surging.
He lives in NYC, so I sent him to Old St. Patrick's in Chinatown.
Fifteen years ago, this parish was on the verge of shuttering. Today, you can't get a seat at Mass.
The vast majority of congregants are under 40.

I “grew up” using Twitter and it’s disheartening to see how bias and hostility from self-acclaimed freedom fighters on this app have gradually clouded reasoning. Saddening, too, to observe the intellectual decline of voices I once respected. Disappointed, but not surprised.
