Apologies for the Finnish-language link, but a new project with Rosatom was in the pipeline. Understandably, this was scrapped in 2022. However, I wouldn't declare this whole idea completely dead.
@BidBird10 No esim. Isot oligopolit kuten $LNG ja $KMI. Oletettu natgas trendi tukenee, toki tuskin valtavaa vipua. Sektorialtistukseen turvallisemmasta päästä. Kovin syvältä en ole kaivanut.
@PauloMacro Not saying you are wrong.. but i think this is bit harsh. I mean some folks in general pretend to know how ccj should build their contracting book during a brutal bear market and out of it and keep the lights on.

Kiina rakentaa paljon hyvin monenlaista energiakapasiteettia. Mm. Ydinvoimassa Kiinan luvut aivan omassa luokassaan.
$GLNG - For all those confused about LNGCs vs FSRUs vs FLNG. Here are the facts:
LNG Carriers- 670-700 worldwide as of March 2025
Commodity low margin shipping business that transport LNG from point A to point B and compete in a crowded shipping market
*****Golar sold all their commodity LNGC shipping assets to CoolCo in December 2021*****
FSRUs - 45–50 worldwide as of March 2025
Specialized vessels equipped to store LNG and regasify it for direct delivery into gas networks, often serving as floating import terminals.
*****Golar sold all their FSRU assets to NFE in January 2021 and $GMLP is part of NFE*****
FLNGs - 8 worldwide as of March 2025 (2 Golar)
Gimi - BP 20yr Contract (242mm EBITDA)
Hilli - PAE/YPF 20yr Contract (400mm EBITDA)
Highly engineered "floating factories" for LNG production. These are engineering marvels that combine the roles of a gas processing plant and a storage terminal on water, targeting niche, high-reward opportunities. Golar is the ONLY provider as a service not owned by Gas Owners / Producers
Globally 7 more FLNGs being built before 2029 (2 more Golar)
Golar Fuji - YPF 20yr Contract (s/ be announced April 11) for 500mm+ EBITDA
New MKII or MKIII will begin construction after Fuji is contracted (MKII = 500mm EBITDA and MKIII = 775mm EBITDA)
WHY THIS IS A TOP HOLDING
Massive Free Cash Flow Machine
-Golar is headed to $1.57B - $1.84B EBITDA by 2029
-High quality stable counterparties via base rates w/ long term 20yr contracts and Commodity Upside.
-Minimal capex needs for the life of the charter
-Minimal to no tax burden thanks to a strategically advantageous location.
-FCF conversion rate will exceed 70%+ with asset-level debt as the primary cost consideration.
On kuitenkin sijoitustyylejä joissa korkea vola on ystävä, jopa vaade.
