Tool use is a central component of agentic workflows, but converting arbitrary function into tools can be a challenge.

Enter @RobocorpInc's action server! It's a great way to convert any python function into a tool.

These tools can then be provided to LangChain agents as a toolkit.

Facing complexities with OpenAI's APIs? Made a small project called LLM FOO to help with tool / function calling. The project aims to reduce verbosity and ease documentation efforts with the tool decorator. It's a work in progress.

4. And then go deeper

@maaretp Software in my opinion does nothing. It is just an executon receipt for a machine that calculates. Abstacted away from that execution also. All impact this has is through changes of human behaviour in the users of that software. That change defines how quality of SW is seen.

@maaretp #robotframework is a tool for a heterogenous groups of people working together. It does not make an expert individual as efficient as possible. Optimising parts does not optimise the whole. It evolved to what it is because there is a need for it.

@maaretp Thanks for the feedback, We decided to remove index based reference for version 1.0.0. Index sometimes changed unexpectedly for example when a page generates a popup. We hope for no off-by-one errors. Sry for the trouble. Hopefully switching based on id:s will be easy to adopt.
