#ShutThePaxDown#PaxSilica
instead of talking about things that are worth your money, let’s talk about things actually worth paying attention to:
being informed isn’t optional. your attention is one of the most powerful things you can give, so use it wisely ‼️
Because we have the freedom to interpret a piece of music. This is my interpretation of Blue.
This is the story of a meeting between a pair of lovers that begins with a sweet, warm, and colorful relationship, until a traumatic tragedy occurs. A tragedy that strips away all the colors and leaves only the color blue behind.
Noticed that when Yoomi met someone, they had the lively colors, but when Yoomi was with Sanghyun, everything became blue.
The journey becomes increasingly difficult and exhausting. Sanghyun was stuck with his trauma and Yoomi was trying to hold on to him. Wounds cannot heal as fast as you want them to, like running at full speed.
Both of them are trapped in a draining process. Yoomi’s hands begin to grow tired from trying to reach someone that cannot be reached, someone who's confined only to the corner of the wound. As in the lyric, “I just keep on falling in your blue,” instead of saving the other, Yoomi ends up sinking into the same pit of pain.
Smiles are only there to cover the lie that everything is fine, and even in an embrace it still feels cold, as the warmth slowly fades away. Rather than living a love that should be sweet like sugar and filled with laughter, they are instead haunted by fear and exhaustion.
Their love is no longer loud, only a faint echo remains, maybe love is still there, but they are both so exhausted that they can no longer even raise their "voices" for love.
In the end, even if love is still there, if one of them has not yet healed and the other ends up being hurt as well, separation is the best path.
Blue is about the willingness to let go, so that they can heal from wounds that refuse to dry and save themselves from the relentless waves of pain.
Joshua says he really misses the other members of #SEVENTEEN: "Whenever I do anything where I have fun, I always think about how much better it would be if I came with my members. @pledis_17
