'I cry daily and suffer panic attacks'. My analysis of impact of #loancharge written for @yorkshirepost. Exactly 4 years ago. As I said at the time: 'I still feel duty-bound to highlight the misery caused by this policy.'
LCAG welcomes meeting invitation from Exc. Sec. to Treasury Dan Tomlinson (@Dan4Barnet), if genuine discussion #McCannReview & potential changes, but if no intent to listen or adapt then meeting pointless. Responses to earlier letters also required.

Rest assured, I'm taking a close look at this letter - and testimony from people affected by #loancharge - in coverage planned in @yorkshirepost in near future. A lot of my focus will be on the heartbreaking revelation of the 11th reported #loanchargesuicide@loanchargeAPPG
We’ve written to the Exchequer Secretary to the Treasury @Dan4Barnet inviting him to a meeting to discuss the #McCannReview into #LoanCharge settlement terms & expressing real concerns that the Government has watered down the recommendations, preventing resolution for many.

Toe the party line and get rewarded even if people are dying.
Another client of Douglas Barrowman's tax avoidance firm, AML, loses in a tax tribunal.
Barrowman's clients have probably lost hundreds of millions of pounds. Barrowman hasn't lost a penny. It's just wrong. https://t.co/gGTbu77szs
#McCannReview double edged sword for #LoanChargeScandal victims. Relief if lower liabilities, others considered less deserving, face unaffordable demands. Thank you @TrevorDPrice, Blanch/Steve & Andrew for telling stories & @skysarahjane for featuring.

A good meeting of the #LoanCharge & #TaxpayerFairness APPG this afternoon discussing the report of the #McCannReview into settlements & the Government’s response.
We are concerned that the Government’s changes undermine the recommendations & will fail to resolve many cases.
@yorkshirepost Review does nothing for the 1000’s perused with vigour, bullied & forced to SETTLE. Yet, if had ignored demands & hounding we would be in a FAR better situation. Punished for following the law! Still paying crippling monthly settlement bills, sold homes, lost relationships. fair?
You won't be surprised to hear that I'm planning a major investigative piece on the latest developments in #loancharge saga. I plan to speak to politicians and everyone at the heart of this tragic scandal. Do get in touch if you feel you can help. @loanchargeAPPG
