⚠️ URGENT PUBLIC SAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUE

Illegal and hazardous metal refining activities by JSK Refinery Pvt Ltd are ongoing at Vardhaman Industrial Estate, Dahisar (East), Mumbai — posing a serious risk to human life.

📍 Location: Unauthorised

Key concerns:

• Unauthorized terrace construction is being used as an industrial refinery
• Gold, silver & platinum melting using nitric acid
• Hazardous “Red Category” activity without proper approvals
• Toxic fumes and chemical vapours are released in a densely populated worker area
• No proper disposal system for nitric acid waste

🚨 Safety violations:

• Fire escape passage illegally blocked
• Continuous exposure of workers and nearby occupants to harmful fumes
• Acid droplets reportedly causing injuries and damage

📄 Despite the following actions already taken:

• FIR registered
• Complaints submitted since 17 Oct 2025
• Legal notice issued (March 2026)
• Multiple representations to BMC & MPCB

❗ No strict or effective action has been taken so far

This ongoing negligence poses a serious threat of fire, chemical exposure, and potential disaster in a crowded industrial area.

Requesting immediate intervention:

✔ Inspection of the premises
✔ Immediate shutdown of illegal activities
✔ Action against responsible parties
