When I was learning Swiper.js and playing around with different slider variations, I always wanted to build a use case with a circular progress indicator, but I had no idea how to approach it.

I kept thinking I’d need some kind of div that I’d hack into a ring and somehow force it to fill, which already felt a bit off.

Today, it finally clicked.

I remembered that SVG can be animated into pretty much any shape, so I thought, why not use it here?

I connected an SVG progress ring with the slider autoplay and synced it with the timing, and it worked really nicely.

Sometimes it just takes looking at the problem from a different angle. 🙂

For this redesign, I chose an interior design business.

I came across many websites with room for improvement, and this one felt like a good candidate for a redesign. The structure was there, but the visual hierarchy and clarity could be strengthened.

Here’s what I focused on:

1. Increased contrast in the Hero section to make the message immediately clear.

2. Let the images do more of the storytelling. In this type of business, visuals often communicate more effectively than long-form copy.

3. Updated the typography to feel more elegant and refined.

4. Replaced generic icons with authentic space photography to reinforce brand credibility.

5. Introduced additional CTAs to create clearer action paths throughout the page.

6. Added more whitespace between sections so the content has room to breathe and the layout feels more premium.

The goal wasn’t just to improve aesthetics, but to strengthen clarity, hierarchy, and overall user experience.

I just completed my first custom @greensock navbar in @webflow! 💥

The most important thing for me was that when I click an anchor link, the navbar closes, and all animations run synchronously and smoothly, just the way I envisioned!
