“I was quite young. I think I was nine when I said I wanted to play the guitar. I asked my parents if I could have guitar lessons. I remember there was a boy at school I really liked. His name was Álvaro, and he took guitar lessons. So I thought, ‘If this is something he likes, I’ll learn it too, and we’ll have something in common.’ But unfortunately, I don’t think Álvaro ever liked me back. Still, he was a little motivation for me.

Later, I realised that I also wanted to sing in a choir. I remember telling my mum that I wanted to join a choir in Sant Esteve, my hometown, but they told me I wasn’t old enough yet. So, from the age of nine to 13, I sang by myself at home, however I could.”
