Queen Alexandrine Russian Sapphire Tiara was a wedding gift from Tsar Nicholas II and Empress Alexandra in 1898. Composed of eight oval-cut Ceylon sapphires and originally built as a multi-use piece. In 2024, it was transformed in collaboration with Queen Mary ⬇️
This little oyster holding a pearl is such a cute design. The soft blue crystal makes it look even more beautiful. Sometimes the simplest things catch my eye.

Edwardian style refers to design, fashion and jewelry until 1914.
Part of the Belle Époque, this era of immense luxury and high society defined an aesthetic of extraordinary lightness, ultra-feminine delicacy, and ethereal grace.
In fine arts and jewelry, the style is instantly recognizable by revolutionary shifts in craftsmanship:
Prada Ambassador Scarlett Johansson, Lily James, and Cynthia Erivo wore #Prada while attending the 70th BFI London Film Festival.
#ScarlettJohansson wore a red silk georgette bias-cut dress with ruched bra detail, while attending the "Paper Tiger" Gala Screening.
#LilyJames wore a pressed white velvet sheath dress featuring draped scarf sleeves, while attending the “The Liberation” premiere.
#CynthiaErivo wore a canary yellow silk satin bias-cut dress, featuring black geometric grosgrain bows on the neckline, while attending the “Prima Facie” premiere.

Created for Tiffany Studios in 1917 under the direction of Louis Comfort Tiffany, the monumental “Mountain Landscape Window” is an early expression of the House’s enduring legacy of color artistry and fascination with the natural world. Through luminous glass and richly layered hues, the piece transforms nature’s palette into an extraordinary work of art and design. Now part of Crystal Bridges Museum of Art’s permanent collection, the window allows this enduring connection between Tiffany’s heritage, color and the American landscape to live on for generations.
Now on display through March 29, 2027.

A bouquet that never fades. Diamonds, golden warmth, and fiery orange garnets come together in this timeless French treasure from the 1940s. Some flowers are simply too precious to wilt.
That little bird carrying a green gem in its beak is such a cute detail. The whole brooch has that old-fashioned charm that never really goes out of style.
A celebration of cinematic excellence and extraordinary artistry. House ambassadors Amanda Seyfried, Connor Storrie, Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade walk the red carpet at the 6th Annual Academy Museum Gala wearing Tiffany & Co. creations in a testament to the House’s legacy of exceptional design and craftsmanship.

A selection on Edwardian Tea Gowns, which were worn when having guests to afternoon tea, or when in and about the house (a bit like our lounge wear, but so much more elegant!)
They were worn without a heavy boned corset, so would be worn in the presence of family and friends only 1905-1909

The most beautiful Madonna ever painted was painted 545 years ago.
And to think Botticelli was almost completely forgotten until the 1850s.
For centuries he was little more than a footnote and by the late 16th century his elegant, linear, almost ethereal style felt old-fashioned.
Then in the mid-19th century, the Pre-Raphaelites Rossetti, Ruskin and others, rediscovered him.
They were captivated by that poetic delicacy and championed him with passion.
That revival changed everything.
His Madonnas, Primavera and Venus, became icons once again.
We really have them to thank for bringing Botticelli back into the light.
Without that rediscovery, we might have lost one of the most enchanting voices of the Renaissance, and a favorite of mine.
THE ROMANOV CROSS: A JEWEL OF IMPERIAL LEGEND
A masterpiece of 19th century European jewellery, this extraordinary cross unites the brilliance of cabochon emeralds, rubies, diamonds, and vivid red and blue enamels in a composition worthy of an imperial court.
Its allure lies not only in its precious materials, but also in its remarkable story of provenance.
According to tradition, the cross was gifted by Tsar Nicholas I of Russia to the celebrated French actress Madame Arnould Plessy in 1850.
A jewel suspended between history and legend, it evokes the splendour of Imperial Russia and the refined artistry of European goldsmiths.
Every gemstone, every enamelled detail, whispers of a world where jewellery was more than adornment: it was a symbol of power, prestige, and personal connection.
A timeless testament to the enduring fascination of the Romanov legacy. #Romanov #RomanovDynasty #ImperialRussia #NicholasI #HistoricJewels #AntiqueJewellery #FineJewellery #LuxuryHeritage #JewelleryHistory #RoyalJewels #Emeralds #Rubies #Diamonds #EnamelArt #EuropeanJewellery #LuxuryMagazine #HighJewellery #ArtHistory #JewelsOfHistory
