@GylesB1 Along with The Good Life and To The Manor Born, I remember watching Penelope Keith in this Morecambe and Wise sketch when I was little. https://t.co/WQ4HgN9qbI
I had 3-4 weeks off Twitter with autistic burnout recently & my engagement is right down (also due to standing up to a vile group of trolls on here-they reported me lots, restricting my reach). If you see this photo it would be so ace if you could RT it or drop me a quick hello if you have a moment, both of which help an account get back on track. I also hope these little violas ping some floral dopamine in your meat computer & give you a small lift 🌿
Many have asked why I have been so silent these past weeks. I'm heartbroken to say my beautiful, darling wife passed away on Thursday. She had held my heart in her hand from the first moment I saw her and we shared 36 wonderful years together. She had bravely battled cancer with courage and fortitude for many years yet still never lost the ability to light up a room with her beautiful smile, her wonderful sense of humour and her laughter. Not once did she give up the hope for life. I truely believe there is more to this existence than we know and that one day we shall be reunited by our love for each other, a love that was so honest and so real and so true. Until then I shall hold her tightly in my heart. When my daughter and I returned home from the hospital a red rose had appeared in our garden. It was right outside our door and had appeared from nowhere in a clump of dry weeds. Red roses were my wife’s favorite flower. She wore 3 in her hair at our wedding and carried a bouquet of red roses. I had asked her to send me a sign before she passed to say she was ok. It must have been sent by her.
You will stay forever in my heart until we are together again my darling ❤️
❗️Here it is. Please RT 🙏
The major piece of news I have been waiting to share
⬇️
@NHSNotts UNDER CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION FOR CORPORATE MANSLAUGHTER.
@thetimes
‘Detectives (@northumbriapol ) have informed the trust’s bosses and told them to preserve all records related to the June 2023 attacks.
The trust said that it would co-operate with the inquiry.
The move is likely to send ‘shockwaves’ through the NHS as it shifts the case against the trust from treatment failures to the question of whether it was directly responsible for the killings’.
COMMENT:
As a trust we hold you to account for the loss of our son, for Grace and for Ian.
Yes - YOU.
To all of the negligent, inept and failed clinicians, practitioners and managers.
TOP DOWN.
You WILL be held to account.
You (alongside the Calocane family, the @nottspolice, @leicspolice and @CPSUK ).
You have blood on your hands. You know it, I know it, and now the country will know it.
Whatever it takes, you will be held to account.
I will post in full tomorrow….

Oooh I’d forgotten about this artist , I used to post his work often as I love it
‘Roses on the House
He was a stubborn painter and wouldn’t be pigeonholed for his style and suffered because if it. In the end he was called an Intimist

A traditional technique used by young shepherds of Ethiopia's Banna tribe. They use stilts to watch over their livestock in tall grass, move through wetland areas, and avoid snakes and predators like lions and leopards. It requires strength, balance, and training from a young age.
I was with him yesterday amongst so many who he has supported by challenging the system and introducing laws to prevent and protect…I observed total respect and a sense of loss and I observed his humanity, dedication, and grace in Departure. I believe my eyes, ears and those who actually know above the Tittle Tattle and name calling of foreign influence and those who simply serve to bring down. We have lost a good man with good intent, We will know that too soon,
Keir Starmer is handing the keys of No.10 to Andy Burnham next week, and he is leaving with an absolute masterclass of a final week.
Just look at the scoreboard from Monday and Tuesday alone.
i - £5.2bn Services Deal with Switzerland: the biggest services trade deal in UK history.
ii - Historic Gibraltar Treaty :finally sorting a post-Brexit hard border while strictly preserving British sovereignty.
iii - Ukraine Defence Procurement :securing major manufacturing and engineering jobs right here in the UK.
iv - Legion d’honneur .Starmer becomes the first-ever serving British PM to receive France’s highest honour.
This is a government focused on bringing pride, justice, and economic security back to the UK.
Let’s be honest.Has any UK government delivered this much in a single week in the last decade?
@RockerOld I think you are probably right but I'm uncomfortable with the way Starmer was pushed out and the coronation of Burnham. It had far too much media pressure behind it.
Novak Djokovic: “I refused lots of big brands and huge paychecks because I can’t represent something that I do not believe in. I also rejected the most famous drink in the world. I care about integrity. If I do not drink something, I can’t represent it.”
Today’s route.
34 miles and 4500ft of climbing.
An excellent combination of decent gravel and quiet lanes.
A beautiful part of the world, unknown to most.
Who was the doctor/health worker who did the assessment in hospital.
This was a grossly failed assessment.
The patient should not have been driving and should have been assessed properly in hospital, with a full MHA assessment.
Another beautiful child Josie Cartwright taken away from her family that will be much like my own family……devastated by the totally avoidable loss of our daughter.
When will mental health workers get it right….this is a national disaster that is not getting the importance it should.
Cartwright family, if I can help navigate through this and look over the clearly ‘failed’ mental health assessment please let me know.
My time is yours, I will help while you cope with the heartbreak like my family have had to.
I stand by your side…..please get in touch if I can be of some help.
My warm wishes and condolences to you🙏
