@JCatanese43 If anything, Türkiye’s winning goal at the death is a reminder that, as Yogi Berra said, “it ain’t over ‘til it’s over.” The USMNT can’t afford to let their guard down in the knockout rounds.
@Jermainejunior I thought Berhalter was the man of the match. He had a goal *and* an assist. I think he’s on Pochettino’s shortlist for subs vs. Bosnia & Herzegovina.
@TaylorTwellman B&H features former #NERevs player Esmir Bajraktarević. He now plays for PSV with #USMNT teammates Sergiño Dest and Ricardo Pepi. Looking forward to that matchup!
@Jermainejunior@ajturini There’s still room on the national team for a domestic league players. Most of the guys on the current USMNT roster started in MLS and/or their academies. Without robust leagues at home, there will be fewer U.S. players in Europe.
I feel badly for Zendejas. He’s not gelling with the rest of the team. Could he have benefited from an extra 10 minutes, coming in right after the hydration break? Or is he trying too hard to shine on his own? #USMNT#WorldCup2026
Türkiye are playing a great 1st half vs. #USMNT. Have they finally realized their full potential? Or is the heavily-rotated U.S. squad making them look good? #WorldCup2026
@starsnstripesfc The best Italian teams were made up of Serie A stars. Now the league is full of players who didn’t succeed in the EPL. I think it’s diminished Serie A.
@TheGusLopes I guess it depends if money is more important to him than playing in Europe. Money is clearly more important to Chucky Lozano. He gave up playing at the World Cup (and playing at all) for money.
