@DaigMuse Nah the spurs have historically proved themselves to be an actual dynasty. The cycle you’re talking about might apply to OKC/Denver/Milwaukee/etc but SAS are fully capable of running the league for a while.
Could be the end of a short OKC reign. Rule changes coming that will affect their style of play and the Spurs just ripped their heart out. Better hope their bird rights contracts all work out perfectly with no injuries or they could also find themselves in a financial pickle.
@VicLombardi@spurs They played like champions. So clutch the whole game. Fought the momentum swings and closed out. Seeing OKC and MIN both go down with us has cleared my conscience!
@TyLawson3 That’s what happens when a city that’s not supposed to have a major sports team accidentally gets one. Zero other major sports in that city. They don’t know how to act. It’s all new for them.
@SheaSerrano B. There’s 1 winner and 29 losers. Hurts more to climbs that mountain, and lose in the finals, than to just lose in rounds 1-3. And at the end of the day, if you’re not first you’re last. No second place banners.
