@lessin Question regarding the last phase -- won't entertaining be inherently less meaningful to humans if humans didn't create it? Even if the content is amazing, humans didn't make it. That would be the most meaningful difference between the last phase and all phases prior
@benthompson the argument for blaming networks is that their aggregation of stations is what motivates teams to earn more collective bargaining power via further consolidation of conferences. If stations were unbundled there would be less of an incentive.
Just ordered sushi direct from the restaurant. The total with generous tip will be 65 bucks. I mocked up the order on @Seamless. The total would have been $101. This is complete abuse. Likely a by-product of dynamic pricing driven by an oligopoly in food delivery.
The actors in @blackthought’s Black No More are some of the most impressive vocalists I’ve ever witnessed. Go see it, especially if you’re a Tariq fan.
Just had a call with someone on Forbes 30 under 30 list and came away really impressed.
He shared with me how he made VP at a top tech company before age 30:
1. 4:30 AM wakeup
2. Cold showers
3. Gratitude journal
4. Meditate
5. Dad owns tech company
@lessin I have a different take: what people try to conclude using UR is bullshit. Asking people thoughtful questions to understand their behavior better is a powerful way to build up intuitions. When you try to draw scientific conclusions from them is where things get problematic.
@BernieSanders The cat is out of the bag. You have stiff competition from formidable progressive candidates with bold ideas. You weren't anticipating this. You are now resorting to divisive rhetoric - much like Trump would - to separate yourself from the pack. Will hurt you and Dems in the end.
@dannyoconnor1 I've donated to your campaign, phone banked for you, and want you to win. But your campaign donation solicitation emails are out of control and borderline inappropriate. Please stop.
