Amazon Fresh ₹2K voucher limit will hit hard.
These vouchers were not just useful for Amazon Fresh/Now orders — they worked on a large chunk of products across Amazon.
I’ve personally been using them to save an effective 4% convenience fee instead of using ASV.
Another strong reason to keep the ICICI EPM card in your wallet.
IndusInd Tiger Card just got seriously revalued 🔥
Air India transfer ratio upgraded from 2:1 ➝ 1:1 🤯

Upcoming trip to Somnath, Gir & Diu 😊
Trying to keep this one a mix of spirituality, nature and a fun family vacation for the kids. Booked Taj properties at Gir and Diu, so hoping for a memorable experience.
Plan is:
🛕 Somnath for peace & divinity
🦁 Gir for wildlife
🌊 Diu for relaxing beaches & family time
Would love suggestions from people who have done this circuit recently:
Must-do activities?
Things to keep in mind in Gir safari bookings?
Best spots in Diu for sunset/water activities?
Any hidden gems for families/kids?
Looking forward to this Gujarat trip 🙌
Amazon has quietly updated LPG cylinder booking on its app & website.
Now:
• Booking works only for the mobile number linked to the gas connection and Amazon account
• Booking cylinders for family members/other mobile numbers is no longer working
• Payment can still be done via Amazon Pay
This may impact users managing LPG bookings for parents or multiple households from one account.
My current AMEX strategy is fairly straightforward:
• AMEX Platinum Travel
Was able to get the annual fee reversed again this year. Have already completed ~₹7L spends, so the card will remain inactive for now until the next renewal cycle.
Closer to renewal, I’ll evaluate the card again based on:
Retention offer / fee waiver possibility
Reward structure
Transfer bonuses
Overall value proposition at that point in time
The credit card landscape changes very quickly, so committing to a 10 month view rarely makes sense.
• AMEX MRCC (LTF)
This continues to be a long-term hold.
Usage strategy is simple:
4 transactions of ₹1.5K every month for the monthly milestone rewards
Route excluded category spends here whenever possible
Additional 20K spend milestone MR points are a bonus
Keeping the setup simple and flexible works best for me.
#ccgeeks Why are you still using Amex cards, and where do you use them?
My Plat Travel is due for renewal, and MRCC follows next month. I might just exit the Amex ecosystem altogether.

Did you know even a small mistake in your EPF UAN account could affect your future pension? 😳
Have you ever checked if your service history is properly updated in your EPF UAN account? 👀
We switch jobs and transfer EPF balances all the time, but sometimes the service history doesn’t get updated correctly in the UAN.
Why does this matter?
Your EPS pension depends a lot on your total service years. If some service history is missing, your pension amount could end up being lower.
A lot of people only notice missing years when they’re close to retirement — and fixing it at that stage can be really stressful.
Just take 2 minutes today:
✅ Log in to the UAN portal
✅ Open the “Service History” section
✅ Check if all your past employers and service years are showing correctly
If something’s missing, it’s better to fix it now instead of dealing with the hassle later.
Flipkart Plus membership just got tougher 👀
🔹 Plus Silver: 10 ➝ 15 orders/year
🔹 Plus Gold: 20 ➝ 25 orders/year
Benefits remain the same, only the eligibility criteria changed.
Looks like loyalty inflation has arrived at Flipkart too 😅
🚨 AMEX Platinum Travel fee reversal done again this year 👀
Becoming tougher with every passing year, but somehow managed to get it done after trying all possible jugaads 😅🙌
If your renewal is due soon, definitely worth exploring every possible option before paying the annual fee.
@BhuvanG23 Each Taj Hotel have different Pet policy. Pls check with them before booking. As far I kn, Coorg and Ooty resort allows Pet on payment basis. Additionally you can use Voucher for Dine-in also.
Ever noticed how the fair MR redemption suddenly looks… kinda poor once you compare it differently? 😅
Here’s the twist most people miss 👇
Direct redemption:
24K MR → ₹14K Taj GV
= 58p per MR ✅
Sounds decent, right?
But wait till you see the “smart spender” route 👀
₹14K Taj GV is often available on Amazon @12% OFF
So your effective cost drops to ~₹12.3K
Now layer this with the EPM / HDFC Infinia Credit Card strategy where Amazon Shopping vouchers can fetch ~14% rewards 🤯
₹12,320 - 14% rewards
= Effective outflow ~₹10.6K
Which means…
If 24K MR points are replacing a spend of only ~₹10.6K, then your REAL value is closer to ~44p/MR 😳
And if someone is stacking rewards even better?
That “58p/MR redemption” can quietly fall toward ~40–44p/MR 👀
Crazy part?
Nothing changed.
Same Taj voucher.
Same MR points.
Only the benchmark changed.
So one person FEELS he extracted 58p/MR 🔥
While another FEELS those same points were worth only 40–44p/MR 🤝
Perception changes the valuation.
Not really double counting 😄
I’m not saying the 14% rewards are “free”.
I’m saying a rational buyer compares MR redemption against the lowest effective acquisition cost possible via cash route.
If someone can consistently buy the same Taj GV at:
12% upfront discount + accelerated rewards
…then for THAT person, the economic replacement value of the voucher is lower.
Exactly like airline miles.
One person values a business class ticket at ₹2L (published fare).
Another says “I would never pay more than ₹90K during sales”.
Same seat.
Different perceived value.
So 58p/MR is the redemption value.
40–44p/MR is the opportunity-cost-adjusted value.
Both frameworks are valid depending on what benchmark you personally use 🤝
