Greater affordability requires greater availability. Arbitrarily redistributing more money (rich-to-poor) does not make necessities more available. It only makes prices higher.

Well, most people don’t get it — republicans included. Politicians keep going back to wanting to give a tax break to low income people. If you do that for a small group, then it benefits those few. When you do that across the board for everyone equally, it does no good. It just causes inflation. Affordability remains the same.
@FoxNews The result is an equilibrium point (where the two curves meet) that moves straight up to a point where the quantity is the same, yet prices are higher.
@FoxNews When politicians redistribute wealth, they shift the supply curve to the left and the demand curve to the right for all products & services. The result is inflation and low-income folks cannot afford to buy more even though they have more money.

@FoxNews Taxing the rich increases the costs to produce the things we need, so their supply curve shifts left. Give more money to the poor and they rush out to buy more products & services which bids up their prices, so their demand curve shifts right.
BREAKING: President Trump vows to eradicate what he calls a "horrible thread of cancer" quietly moving through the nation, issuing a stark warning against the rise of communism in America.
"We have a country that's just the hottest. It just is so hot and I'm working really hard to make it even better. We're going to get rid of some of the flaws. We're going to make it even better."
"But the biggest thing we have to do is we have to stop this, this horrible thread of cancer that's permeating our country called communism."
@FoxNews So, redistribution of wealth only causes inflation and does not improve affordability for lower income people. That's because the "rich" are the business owners -- the ones who operate the supply of goods & services. Taxing them more increases the cost of production.

I asked Grok for the probability of a high-card-only hand in a poker 5-card-draw game and it gave me the wrong answer. It kept telling me that there are 1,296,480 possible high-card-only hands, but my calculations came up with 1,302,540. I was right. #Grok#xAI@grok@xai
