Love Untying the Girdle of Venus, Joshua Reynolds, 1788.

Some historians believe the model for this Venus was Emma Hart, at the time the mistress of Sir William Hamilton in Naples, though the resemblance isn't fully confirmed. Reynolds actually wanted to call the painting "Half Consenting" before settling on something tamer. A decade later Emma would become far more famous as Lord Nelson's mistress. In 1788 she was still just Reynolds's model.
