@frerardie Your first sentence is partially true but I see where you're getting at and I do get you. Now, if Hamas is a resistance movement, why does it also resort to repression and intimidation against its own population?
@frerardie@notablueberry22@utd_99_@hasitleaked Again, I never said that. Israel is comitting a genocide on the Palestinian population and hides behind its fight against Hamas. Hamas is NOT Palestine, it has violated international humanitarian law, trampled on human rights in Gaza, and is clearly not a group to be defended.
@frerardie "The three schools at which weaponry was found were empty at the time and were not being used as shelters. However, the fact that they were used by those involved in the fighting to store their weaponry and, in two cases, probably to fire from is unacceptable." 2/2
@frerardie Or maybe you can read the report: "Concerning the discovery by the United Nations of weaponry on United Nations premises, I am dismayed that Palestinian militant groups would put United Nations schools at risk by using them to hide their arms." 1/2
@frerardie@notablueberry22@utd_99_@hasitleaked Yes Israel is also doing that, I never said otherwise. Now that we both agree on the atrocity of Israel's actions, can we also agree not to seek to defend Hamas, but rather Palestine?
@frerardie@priyatonin@hasitleaked Donโt get me wrong though, Thom and Jonny can be criticized for a few things (denial of influence and the Dudu Tassa case, respectively), but none of what you said above ever happened
@frerardie@priyatonin@hasitleaked None of that ever happened bro what are you talking about ? ๐ญ while I agree that Thom and Jonny have been way too quiet on this, Thomโs recent post made it clear that they were not supporting Israel nor Hamas. Ed and Phil have also been very vocal about what is happening in Gaza
