Akheem Mesidor has HALF the amount of QB pressures (6) as Odafe Oweh this season (12).
And their run defense grades are nearly identical
Chargers should have kept Oweh and spent the 1st round pick on offense.
⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️WEEKLY GIVEAWAY⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️
It’s time to turn this season around and refocus on the good. This week’s giveaway is for a pair of tickets to see the Broncos. You must be a Chargers fan to enter. Just give this post a RT and I will announce the winner of Friday. Have a great week. #BoltUp
Everyone should remember that Michigan fans were calling for Jim Harbaugh to be fired at one point (like a lot of them check the tweets), and he almost was fired… then look what happened 👀👀👀
@JDubCot@ChargersTruther This “Spanos sell the team” shit is such a waste of energy. It’ll never in a million years happen. He’s passing ownership to his son when he passes. Owning this team right now is profitable especially since they rent SoFi and seats are full regardless if the Chargers suck.
If you think about it Chargers oline will be better next year with Alt, Slater, and a center who’s actually capable of playing in the NFL. My guess is they’re going after interior lineman in the draft
@lsbolts15 I genuinely didn’t expect this team to make playoffs this year. I think the biggest frustration and seeing another year of horrible protection and nothing being done about it that is making me lose hope on the future of the franchise
Yall funny on this app. Yall screaming sell the team, trade this and that player, get rid of Herbert. Blow it all up fire everyone. If you are this upset with an 0-4 record. Do you think you can make it through the rebuild years???? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Can we not worry about hurting Slater’s feelings and put Joe Alt as the permanent LT?? That’s his natural position I bet he would look ridiculously good on the left side
The Chargers did this to themselves
Big offseason move was Tyler Biadasz
When so many quality IOL were on the market including Tyler Linderbaum (just look at how the Raiders OL is performing now). Didn't sign a swing tackle either.
Joe Hortiz should be fired
I'm done with @Chargers Twitter ya'll. I'm done with the Chargers.
The OL and offense is horrible. Joe Hortiz needs to be fired. He's neglected the offense every offseason he's been GM. He doesn't know how to build one.
I've seen my favorite player regress to a shell of what he formally was.
@JohnDeanSpanos@jimharbaugh
I'm out. I'm going back to Italy in a week. ✌🏻
Watching Justin Herbert and Mike McDaniel get blamed from every possible angle while Joe Hortiz largely escapes criticism is both funny and painful to watch.
Year 1 Hortiz had the worst iOL in the NFL.
Year 2 Hortiz had the worst O-line in the NFL.
Year 3 Hortiz entered the offseason with roughly $100 million in cap space and basically whiffed on everything.
That’s the part I don’t understand. You had an obvious problem, the resources to fix it, and an entire offseason to do something about it — and the result is still (arguably) the worst offensive line in football.
Ten-year-old me could’ve constructed a better roster than this.
And yet, somehow, Hortiz seems to avoid the level of criticism that gets thrown at Herbert and McDaniel every week. That’s the part that’s genuinely hilarious.
Joe Hortiz is a far bigger problem than Mike McDaniel.
FAR BIGGER.
What exactly are we expecting this team to accomplish when they have one weapon and the worst offensive line in the sport? Hortiz created the environment. ALL OF IT.
He should get more blame than Herbert and McDaniel combined.
