One of the biggest $ZEC swaps on THORChain so far: 0.365 $BTC for 24.7 $ZEC, about $29.6K.

The $ZEC pool held 22.9 $ZEC when the swap started. The swapper received more than the pool held.
THORChain streamed it: 1,300 sub-swaps over 1h58, with arbitrageurs refilling the pool between them. The pool never dropped below 22.2 $ZEC. THORChain's fee came to about 0.22%, and the app the swapper used added 1.25%.

About 15% of the deposit came back. The swapper had set a price limit, and midway through $ZEC got 5% more expensive in the pool. Streaming checks that limit on every sub-swap. 197 of them would have delivered less $ZEC than the limit allowed, so THORChain skipped them and refunded 0.065 $BTC instead of filling at a worse price. Once the price came back, the rest of the swap went through.

$ZEC is still in a progressive rollout. The pool is kept small while the integration is tested on mainnet, and liquidity deepens once that goes well. With streaming, a thin pool means a longer wait, not a worse price.

For the first time since the May 15th hack, all 12 @THORChain chains are back online and trading

$SOL was the last piece of the puzzle, and with its reactivation the protocol is now clear to churn - which is a big deal to Node Operators and Bond Providers who have been stuck either in or out of the validator set

A successful churn is also the last blocker to the re-enablement of @RujiraNetwork, which was paused out of an abundance of caution for further consensus issues

Successful churns are also key to the creation of the monero:native and $ZEC Asgard vaults, which are themselves necessary for swapping in or out of those chains. However the network will delay the activation of these chains for at least a week as it confirms stability and addresses whatever new issues might arise.

$TCY is THORChain's revenue sharing token. Total supply is fixed at 210 million, and staking it earns you 10% of all protocol system income, paid in $RUNE.

Here's the part that keeps the flywheel running. If you don't claim or stake your TCY, that yield gets forfeited and redirected to grow the protocol's own reserves. On top of that, fees generated from $TCY/ RUNE swap activity are used to buy additional protocol-owned $TCY.

The protocol accumulates more $TCY over time. Stakers who participate earn from real swap fees across 13 chains.

After more than a month offline, the network is fully back. Signing, churning, secured and trade assets, LP actions, and swaps are all up and running. The world's leading Bitcoin DEX is open for business once again.
