Forcing airlines to provide family seating and name corrections at no extra charge does not make those services free. It merely shifts the cost—into higher base fares, fewer routes, tighter capacity, or reduced service for everyone else.

When private firms fail, they can be replaced.
When government enterprises fail, they are usually expanded.
