As we wake up this morning to the dawn of the new Pac-12, I cannot help but think about the unquestionable resilience that both Oregon State and Washington State have shown over the last few years. Those two schools witnessed every single one of their conference mates abandoned them because we live in an era of conference realignment where money is much more important than history, tradition, and regionality. Their schools were on the verge of being cast aside in the footnotes of history and the Pac-12 was on the verge of joining the Big East and WAC in joining the major college football graveyard. But Instead, we saw a glimpse of what the undeniable human resolve is capable of by not only refusing to accept their fate as Institutions but by also reviving the Pac-12 from the ashes at the same time! So while the Pac-12 may not command as much of the national spotlight as what they used to, one is thing is still abundantly clear. Pac-12 After Dark? Is OFFICIALLY BACK!!
