One thing that gets lost in all the weird hate for @PatMcAfeeShow is how incredibly generous the dude is.
•Gave every employee a $250K cash bonus.
•Paid regular guests for their time when that was practically unheard of.
•Offered to pay ESPN production staff’s salaries out of his own pocket when they were facing layoffs, saving their jobs.
•Has given away something like $15 million to students since joining College GameDay (And before someone says “it’s all a tax write-off,” a deduction doesn’t magically put all that money back in his pocket. Even when it is deductible, he’s still spending far more than he saves in taxes).
And that’s just what I can remember off the top of my head. There are countless stories of charity, generosity, and genuine acts of kindness from the man, and he’s still getting death threats… because of course, it’s 2026.
You don’t have to like the show, but give the man some credit. He’s the best at what he does, and one of the few at that level who still seems more interested in having fun and treating people well than being an asshole.
Cheers, Pat! Keep doing you! 🍻

@PardonMyTake@hen_ease you guys talk about the next big face of the UFC and yes I agree @PaddyTheBaddy is one of the faces of the ufc, a very soon to champion. But how did @SugaSeanMMA never come to your guys mind?
We’re only 7 games into the season and the NFL has dished out $13 Million in fines. The most frustrating being TD cellys…
Stop the fines so we can bring these iconic moments back (A Thread):
