@Alvaro_Romeo Hard disagree mate. Rice’s ability isn’t the issue. It’s the teams he plays in. As we saw tonight when he has licence to be creative and actual out balls he is very capable. Also I like Anderson but would love to see a more Spanish midfielder next to him. Scott/ Wharton etc.
@Gray67Ma@Argyle This isn’t an injury tit for tat as get every team as injuries, it’s a reflection on the way we conceded the goals. Both keeper errors. Where as not sure you created many clear cut chances.
Absolute corruption at the #AFCON2025. The soft free kick given at one end to prevent a match-winning goal and then the soft VAR award of a penalty at the other end after the Moroccan player ran around like a baby. One of the most disgusting things I’ve seen in football that.
@Argyle What a mess and a truly pathetic display. Wouldn’t even complain about Warnock or Holloway taking over at this point. Just want to see some passion & go back to basics PLEASE
@RedHarrington44 Hi mate - if you’re comparing fans waving hats at a player to some of the nasty personal stuff being thrown at our players throughout last week that’s mental. I’ve worked multiple Ryder Cups and while some Euro fans are no angels, the crowd are always more abusive in the States.
It’s actually even worse than I thought. And on tv we’re not hearing 90% of the nonsense. No athlete should have to listen to abuse about their family. The US losing on and off the course. Embarrassing.
I’m 100% convinced the crowd at this Ryder Cup will be the worst for decades. I experienced Hazeltine first hand & that wasn’t pretty, but IMO this will be on another level for various reasons. I just hope our players can block it out because it won’t be easy.
