Every atheist I've debated eventually lands here: if God is real, why can't we see him? I used to fumble this. Then I read 1 Timothy 1:17.

Paul is mid-argument about grace and his own conversion when he breaks suddenly into praise:

"Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honour and glory for ever and ever."

"Eternal," "immortal," and "the only God" make sense as praise. But invisible? We don't praise men for being unseen. Why does Paul list it as something as glorious as the majesty and immortality of God?

Unless invisibility is not a limitation. Unless it is out of gracious design.

Paul met the unmediated light of Christ on the road to Damascus, he was knocked into the dirt, and blind for three days. He knows what the alternative to invisible feels like. It produced collapse, not worship. His praise is a survivor's testimony.

When people ask for God to be visible, they don't understand what full divine visibility would actually require.

God is omnipresent in essence. Therefore, total divine visibility fundamentally requires omnipresent visibility.

If God reveals Himself to the fullest extent of His capacity, He must be visible everywhere, at all times.

In the room you closed the door to. In the moment you spent your life believing nobody was watching. A visible, omnipresent God is not majestic; He is psychologically catastrophic. Nobody wants this, not even the devout.

Look at Isaiah 6. The prophet sees merely the hem of God's garment filling the temple, not the full glory of God, just the overflow. His response? "Woe to me, I am undone." A partial glimpse unmade him completely.

God isn't after bland empirical agreement. James already ended that: the demons believe, and tremble.
Intellectual assent is a bar the devil clears daily.

God isn't running a census of the convinced; He is seeking genuine love. And genuine love requires genuine choice, which requires that the object of love not be overwhelming.

This is why women despise love bombing. A man who floods your psychological space until refusal becomes impossible isn't loving you, he is eliminating the conditions for love. The "yes" he extracts is engineered by exhaustion.

God does the exact opposite. He veils His glory precisely so that you retain the dignity of saying no. The love bomber makes himself so large that you have no choice. God makes Himself small enough that you do.

Which brings us directly to the Incarnation.

The Incarnation is God making Himself visible enough to be known, but small enough to be rejected without fuss.

It is the most precise solution to the most precise problem: God doesn't arrive as a sky-filling terror, but as a baby in a manger in a backwater town. You can walk past a carpenter from Nazareth. You cannot walk past the throne of Isaiah 6.

The Bible is already clear that every knee will bow, a day of compelled reality as certain as the sun. But God is not eager for a forced crowd. Right now, He is seeking the single, freely given return of a heart in love.

When an atheist asks why he cannot see God, he is asking a better question than he knows. The answer is not absence. The answer is restraint.

Now one can finally understand why Paul says INVISIBLE, and means it as highest acclaim. It is not a limitation, it is a mercy.

The depth of their ideological commitment became clear in the 1930s. While Stalin was starving millions and filling the Gulags, the Webbs toured the Soviet Union and returned to write a thousand-page volume of praise, Soviet Communism: A New Civilisation?. They denied it was a dictatorship and treated the entire experiment with remarkable indulgence.

The Fabians never went to the barricades. Through the Labour Party, the creation of the National Health Service, the nationalisation of industry and the construction of the post-war welfare state, they achieved a quiet but profound transformation of British society - by stealth. Personal responsibility and market mechanisms steadily gave way to bureaucratic redistribution and dependency.

Their lasting achievement was to prove that patient, elite-driven permeation could expand state power and erode individual liberty more effectively than any violent revolution. The victory was silent, cumulative – and still with us.

Rome thought it had the final word.
Emperor Domitian ordered the apostle John lowered into a cauldron of boiling oil. The plan was simple: silence the last living eyewitness of Jesus once and for all.
But the oil didn’t touch him.
The fire refused to claim him.
John stepped out of that cauldron without a single burn.
History records it. Early church writers like Tertullian wrote about it. And the result wasn’t just survival — it was exile to the island of Patmos, where the same John received the Revelation of Jesus Christ.
Earthly power can light the fire.
It cannot decide whether the fire will obey.
God still does that.
He still decides when a trial is allowed to touch us… and when it is not.
He still protects the people He has unfinished work for.
John didn’t walk out of that cauldron because he was stronger than the empire.
He walked out because heaven had already written the next chapter.
The same God who kept John is still writing chapters today.

99% of Christians won’t ever know this but Jesus is actually affirmed as the Messiah in the Quran.

Then everything the Messiah was actually sent to do is deleted.

The Quran calls Jesus “al-Masih”, the Messiah, eleven times. Surah 3:45.

But it strips the title of its content and meaning. 

The Messiah of the Hebrew Scriptures was prophesied to: be born in Bethlehem (Micah 5:2) , be pierced (Zechariah 12:10, Psalm 22:16) , be “cut off”, killed, before the temple’s destruction (Daniel 9:26) , die as a guilt offering for the people (Isaiah 53:5-10) , rise, for God “will not let Your Holy One see corruption” (Psalm 16:10)

The Quran keeps the crown (“Messiah”) and deletes the mission (the cross and resurrection). 

It even denies the crucifixion entirely (Surah 4:157), the very thing the Messiah came to do.

It’s like calling someone “the Savior” while insisting he saved no one.

The title without the mission is an empty crown.

The Bible gives the Messiah His full work: “the Christ should suffer these things and enter into His glory.” Luke 24:26.

Suffer, THEN glory. The Lamb, then the Lion.

My own book called Jesus the Messiah.

I just never asked what the Messiah was sent to do, until I read the book that told me. And what He was sent to do was die for me, and rise. 

That’s what “Messiah” means.

A whistleblower has come forward relaying horrifying claims about Becerra's time as HHS secretary when immigrant kids went missing on his watch and what happened specifically at the Fairplex complex.

"Becerra toured the Fairplex complex in July 2021, and called it a 'a model' for other sites across America and a place where kids could be 'healthy and safe.'"

In her six months working at the center in 2021, the whistleblower claims her concerns about what was happening to vulnerable children were routinely ignored because of pressure to reunify minors with sponsors, despite no clear evidence of any connection the adults had to the children or where they were going.

One haunting example from the caseworker involved a 5-year-old girl, ‘’Grace,” who arrived at the Fairplex with her 7-year-old sister.

Grace was distraught because she couldn’t find her sibling.

“I miss my sister, and I don’t know where she’s at,’’ said Grace, claiming to not have seen her sister for several days.

The caseworker claimed a 14-year-old girl got pregnant after being raped. She had allegedly been forced into sex work by a woman described as her ‘’so-called aunt’’ and sponsor.
