Day 2 of D of E Bronze Qualifier completed. All 5 groups did really well in their assessments and walks. Teamwork, resilience and knowledge of the outdoors. All have passed! Well done year 9!

We were proud to welcome @MessageTrust and Lancs Violence Reduction Network to Millfield today to deliver powerful #NoMoreCountyLines sessions. Through lived experience, music and discussion, students learned how to recognise exploitation, stay safe and seek support #NoMoreKnives

This week's library book of the week is scientific research into the teenage brain. It's special. Taking risks, sleeping late, gender differences, depression, uncontrollable emotions it shows the biology and psychology behind the behaviour. Good read for teenagers and parents.
Mrs Regan enjoyed celebrating with these Year 7 superstars, who were nominated for their exceptional effort and contribution to performing arts.
