@TheBigTicketJS@goes_again40790@Angelbane1194@irilturel it’s such a ridiculous standard, like you can’t even accuse her of orientalism because her opinions were based on her childhood there at the time as a member of that culture
like what’s the conclusion, that if you move to America you’re not allowed to talk about where you left?
@Bamoton@goes_again40790@Angelbane1194@irilturel they’ll make fun of you, they’ll say something unrelated,’they’ll try to change topics, but you’re never getting an “this is why I believe X and here’s what it’s grounded in”
@Bamoton@goes_again40790@Angelbane1194@irilturel if’s baffling and I see it everywhere, people just willfully misunderstand things said by those they believe to be ideological opponents
and every disagreement I have - as a fairly left leaning person -with people to the left of me end up following the same script
@goes_again40790@Angelbane1194@irilturel also first you said she didn’t sufficiently oppose all those things (A)
now you’re saying her contribution is an affirmative endorsement (B)
while I’m willing to punt on A, A is not the same as B, and if you want to claim B you better demonstrate B
@mktpavlenko@noizynerd@theo The progressive disclosure has worked for me but you do need things carefully pruned.
With deferred MCP tool loading and 1M context windows microoptimizing the memory token load is less important than it used to be.
@mktpavlenko@theo bro fix your replyguy bot it’s a bit too eager
Conductor setup runs once per worktree, and it just copies stuff like .env and maybe symlinks the PNPM cache
it’s not rocket science, not much to pile up, and I can always fall back to using the root worktree
@noizynerd@mktpavlenko@theo I have like twenty of them around because claude code loads .md files as it walks down a directory tree, this would be so annoying
@twigpantheress@Angelbane1194@RegularSanStan@irilturel like I don’t think the guy’s take that Satrapi is culpable for the war somehow is anything but insane, amongst other reasons because Trump’s guys don’t bother with manufacturing consent
but it’s not a new thing nor a fabrication, you saw it for e.g. GWB’s invasion of Iraq
@varrock It seems to be an elective to catch up students that literally never coded before. Probably some artefact from the late Obama “learn to code” thing that turned out to be a massive rugpull.
@ruylrabello@FudsonFole I think he went off to try and freeze some sperm or something? But also like how tf do you flatten to nothing, I thought people keep much of the gains that are within their natural potential
