Britain’s top military chief says the country is now in the “most dangerous period” he has ever known.

He warns that threats from Russia and other state actors are higher than at any time since the Cold War, including cyber attacks, sabotage, and airspace incursions.

The UK, he says, must prepare for longer and more intense wars, not short conflicts.
