#TMRGUK Those of you who follow me for my Railway Modelling may be aware that for some time #MillsysTMD hasn’t had a proper name… that changes today.
I’m Happy to introduce you all to #CastleMillsTMD
@DownOnTheStour Pendolino Rescue and Recovery testing with a prototype Dellener adaptor. Currently 66's can't rescue 390's but this adaptor should make it possible.
@StevenHughes129@Electra88007@Charing_Steve@LocoServicesGrp As for clearing the line itself, if there are no locos or drivers available from a FOC, sets have been left overnight. Happened at Shap and outside Euston a couple months back after no one had drivers or compatible locos available 👍🏼
@StevenHughes129@Electra88007@Charing_Steve@LocoServicesGrp Safety says otherwise unfortunately. 15mph max with trusted people (ideally crew/police/railstaff) blocking the doors in each vestibule or evac/detrain then drag at linespeed empty. I'm sure if a loco was near and it had broken down very close to a station it could be considered
@StevenHughes129@Electra88007@Charing_Steve@LocoServicesGrp [2/2] ...if passengers were to remain on the service with any other loco as it stands the max speed it could be dragged is 15mph. The train will almost always require evac beforehand! Also no guarantee Avanti get a loco/driver due to it being spot hire now subject to availability
@StevenHughes129@Electra88007@Charing_Steve@LocoServicesGrp [1/2] It's a double edged sword. Only the 57/3 can be used for rescue with passengers onboard effectively due to them being the only compatible loco with enough ETH. Anything else (like the 20's) don't have the ETH to operate the auxiliary power like interlocking doors. So...

For context, cars are essentially forced to sit in the yellow box if they even want a chance to get down hill street, particularly those coming from the right otherwise they'd never get out!
This should have been resolved months ago when the slip road onto Suffolk street closed!
@BhamCityCouncil@WMPolice The box junction on Navigation Street x Hill Street is a joke and has been for months, it's like this all day every day. You need to re-time the traffic at both the junction, and the two sets on Hill Street to sort out the traffic flow! Please fix!
