Hon Chombo made some great points when speaking on the newly adopted youth policy and framework, including acknowledging that whilst youth is from 15 to 35, and all over the country in different areas their needs to be segmented as such , for the needs are vastly different , additionally the youth should be role players in policy and entrepreneurship , and it shouldn’t be left to the mercy of other policy makers . Let me try explain:

NYP is a road map on how,where and when government is going to invest in young people. The 10yrs plan sets priorities(the what) areas of key focus eg jobs,health,edu,participation. It assigns responsibilities(the who) must deliver e.g MoF 40% quota 4 youth..

What is National Youth Policy 2026-2036? Anyone with a summary of what it addresses? I have been seeing the Ministry post about it, saw Lesego Chombo content somewhere about it(well it was more of the usual fashion parades) but I can’t see/find proper context about the policy.
