@thismorning 100% agree with the lady with Giles, youth services cuts is the route of many problems, I don’t feel you listened to her well, but her points on youth services and school cuts was spot on! Knife crime and social crimes will continue without youth support!

What an amazing morning Caldey Class had paddle-boarding with Windswept Watersports,it was raining but everyone decided that they were going to get wet anyway!Thank you Windswept for looking after us again and giving everyone the confidence to have-a-go!

@21UAP @brassoteach Lovely idea, but how do schools cover that teacher physically and financially? Would you allow support staff to do the same and have a week of their choice? What if everyone’s choosing the same week? I think it would turn into a total nightmare.

@brassoteach Please think of Special Schools and children with very complex needs, 7:30 a.m start wouldn’t work, many would have to get on transport at 5:30am for a 7:30 start,parents would have to get up at a ridiculous hour to get them ready for school as it’s a much more complex regime.

@JosephOak35 What about stopping the formal lessons and getting them to think/plan a quick mini enterprise to raise some money for a treat? Maybe a mini festival?! Give them something exciting to look forward to..as once the negativity starts it’s a downward spiral.
