Acaban de subir un anuncio en weverse donde la empresa confirmó que Jay fue víctima de acoso e invasión de su privacidad desde junio. Una persona se hizo pasar por empleado de una compañía de servicios de internet y televisión para engañarlo, obtener información personal y contactar insistentemente con él, incluso involucrando a su familia.

Además, esta persona grabó ilegalmente las llamadas telefónicas y difundió las conversaciones en KakaoTalk, Instagram y X, intentando después evadir su responsabilidad.

Ante la gravedad de los hechos, BELIFT LAB presentó una denuncia penal y solicitó la colaboración de las tres principales compañías telefónicas para identificar al responsable.

La empresa aseguró que mantendrá una política de tolerancia cero ante el acoso, la filtración de información personal y cualquier amenaza contra la seguridad de sus artistas, además agradeció a los fans por su colaboración de enviar evidencias en la pagina de protección que tiene con sus artistas en HYBE.
