If Calhoun had the talent Coach K had over his career, he would have won more than 3 and Hurley is winning with nowhere near the talent schools like Duke, Kansas, etc. have. UNC isn't relevant because they didn't have a great coach!

@MLBNow @MLBNetwork There are lower draft pick players I’ve seen in the minors that deserve a shot but don’t get it because of guys with contracts or higher paid prospects. For example, Ryan Ward/Dodgers. Kids a beast! Restructure baseball so the cream can rise to the top!

@MLBNow @MLBNetwork I agree the draft is a crap shoot, which to me means that the signing bonus model is the biggest issue. Pay all draft picks less, make it more equitable and then create incentives for promotions and making it to the show.

@MLBNow @MLBNetwork this reduces’ bust’ risk for teams, motivates minor leaguers, and eliminates teams from hanging onto non-productive high draft picks just to try and get a return on their investment! Current model is so antiquated!
