In Philadelphia there are more vacant, abandoned houses than there are people in need of housing. But there are thousands of people waiting for affordable housing, on a waiting list that can take years. One of my neighbors waited over 10 years… It doesn’t make sense.

1st unplanned contribution #generalsynod I asked that the @CClimateAction protestors be allowed to speak. Instead we adjourned for 10 minutes so security could remove them. Surely 2-5 minutes of them speaking would have been a better use of time & an act of Christian hospitality?
