So yesterday PCOS was renamed to PMOS. After 11 years and about 22,000 people fighting for it.

My mom was a school-teacher in the township of eMadadeni, & took care of myself & my 2 siblings by herself, financially.
She hustled to take us to good ex-Model-C schools that largely had white/Afrikaner kids.
That's why I love rugby, & not so-much football. It's why I have a lot of white friends & appreciate many aspects of white/Afrikaans culture. It was MY childhood and my lived experience.
If YOU grew up in the township, or went to a soccer-crazy school, & largely only have Black friends, that's YOUR experience... not mine.
Stop bullying black kids who grew up in certain cultures & environments, for liking or loving things/people that remind them of their upbringing & their happy childhood memories.
People need to stop bunching all black people into one homogenous group, and unnecessarily judging black kids who have white friends or prefer English or love rugby.
Graduate to a higher level of consciousness... take yourself more seriously, and stop fighting good people who have caused you no harm, and who are just living their lives.
You are NOT less black just because you love Afrikaans, braaing, farming, rugby, alternative rock, wearing khakhis, etc... you are just different, like so many more of you.
And you are NOT more black just because you grew up ekasi, love the Soweto derby, speak better vernac, dress like a pantsula, love iKwaito, etc.
Focus on being a good person, work hard, serve humanity, follow good laws and strive to look beyond race and culture... coz it's oppressing you & holding you back from a really great life & meeting great people.
