The only theory I know, see and believe is:
1) JoongDunk are dating
2) JoongDunk will come back to us one day.
Until then, I'm gonna support them and respect the decisions they make. I take responsibility for my hopes & disappointments. They shalln't feel pressure for my hope.🤍
Joong will never become the villain so many people want him to be.
Joong is an incredibly kind person with a wonderful heart. He is a genuine artist who is transparent about what he thinks and feels, something that isn't always easy to find in an industry where artists are often expected to remain silent and hide their emotions out of fear of how others might react. Those of us who have truly followed him know exactly what we're talking about.
He may not be everyone's cup of tea, and that's completely valid, but nothing justifies disrespecting him. I am deeply proud of Joong for having the courage to express his feelings and set boundaries. SETTING BOUNDARIES IS NEVER WRONG, even if some people choose to interpret it as rudeness. I have always talked about the importance of fans' feelings because I am a fan too. I have feelings, I get sad, and I am going through this situation as well. However, that doesn't mean we should forget something as basic as respect. Just as fans deserve respect, artists do too. Joong is a human being; his feelings matter, and his peace deserves to be protected. There is nothing wrong with him choosing to prioritize his mental well-being, especially after showing genuine care and concern for his fans for such a long time.
We are sad about what has happened over the past few weeks, but people seem to forget that Joong is going through this same situation, possibly in an even more painful way, because HE was the one who lived through a FIVE-YEAR relationship, not us. Joong NEVER forbade his fans from being sad, nor did he ask them to erase five years of history. That is a narrative I keep seeing everywhere. He understands our pain and gave us the freedom to heal in our own way. Why can't we offer him that same consideration? We are all trying to find a more peaceful place and regain our peace of mind. We should be supporting one another instead of turning this fandom into yet another space where he feels pressured.
Another thing that needs to stop is the habit of turning every friend Joong is seen with into a potential partner. A five-year relationship has just ended, and people are already making up new narratives about his next relationship. Not every man he spends time with is a potential partner. One of the qualities I have always admired about Joong is his honesty. If he ever wanted to share something about his future plans in that regard, he could do so himself. Besides, he has EXPLICITLY asked people to stop shipping him with everyone. Give him a break, stop pressuring him, and let him enjoy his friendships.
And this narrative that he hates Dunk and everything related to him, seriously? If there was one thing JoongDunk never lacked, it was affection. Those of us who supported them from the beginning know their story and the feelings they shared. Joong never asked people to stop shipping him with Dunk altogether; he simply talked about understanding the appropriate time and place. You can remember JoongDunk, talk about them, and find comfort in those memories in your own spaces with other Dungjangs, but don't turn every post by either of them, their families, or their friends into a space to talk about the ship. We need to be considerate and stop twisting his words to fuel narratives that don't even exist.
Lastly, I want to tell Joong that you are a wonderful and courageous person. Never let negative comments dim your light or make you change who you are. There are so many people who love and admire you precisely because of your authenticity, honesty, and courage to stand up for your own peace. I am deeply proud of you, both as an artist and as the person you are.
We love you so much, and we will always be here to support and respect you. Even if there are five people who refuse to understand you, there will be twenty who do, and we will be here for you.
Loving an artist also means respecting their boundaries, even when their decisions don't align with our expectations.
please don't believe any of those rumors being said here or on tt, people are taking advantage of this to make up their own to stir up more drama and place the blame on just one of them.
that c-fan who threatened joong to spill everything if he didn't keep quiet should be sued bc she's obviously a sasaeng. she definitely has groups where they share private info about the artists, otherwise how else would she have private info about both of them??
what u guys should actually do is find that chinese fan's account and try to send it to joong or his mom so they can sue her instead of waiting to see what info she's gonna leak about joong or the reason behind joongdunk's breakup, it's none of our business. they already said why, their farewell posts are literally still up there.
