What if Sarah used the One Wish Willow too? #Obsession
I found three disturbing clues that might support this theory.
1. Sarah's acceptance letter starts to blur.
When #Bear opens Sarah's acceptance letter, the words begin to fade. What if that's because Sarah was already dead? If the Wish Willow's magic weakens after the wish-maker dies, the letter disappearing could be a sign that the wish was losing its power.
It's also strange that Sarah received her acceptance letter in the middle of the night. No delivery service would realistically deliver a letter at 2 a.m. If she wished for immediate acceptance, however, it would make sense.
2. Sarah's connection to the crystal shop.
Sarah's tattoos, clothing, and necklace all match the aesthetic of the crystal shop. It could suggest she was a regular customer and may have discovered the One Wish Willow before Bear did.
The film even shows the Wish Willows displayed prominently near the entrance, implying they were popular items.
3. She may have figured out the truth.
Nikki references a willow branch while reciting her poem at Ian's house. If Sarah connected #Nikki's increasingly strange behavior to the One Wish Willow, she may have realized what had happened.
That could explain why she urgently asked Bear to meet her at 2:43 a.m. It was an odd request, especially since Bear was already living with Nikki. Maybe Sarah wasn't calling him for a casual conversationâmaybe she had discovered the truth and wanted to warn him before it was too late.
Unfortunately, she may have underestimated how dangerous the situation had become.
It's just a theory, but it's an interesting one.
Do you think #Sarah also used the One Wish Willow, or am I reading too much into these details?
