Steven Strong is an Australian researcher and former secondary-school teacher with a background in archaeology and education.

NOTE: When Strong first began his research, after being invited to speak by a prominent aboriginal Elder who had read one of his books, he reportedly did not want to have the Pleiades appear as such a central role, but it was an Origin story that Elders insisted upon, and would not stop telling.
