I grew up in a Zionist household, spent 12 years in a Zionist youth movement, lived 4 years in Israel, and have friends and family who served in the IDF.
When that is your world, it's hard to see apartheid when it's happening.

The biggest challenge is overcoming how you think about yourself
How we think of ourselves plays a huge role in how we treat it.
If we think we aren’t worthy of loving our body, then we won’t give it the love it deserves.
Change the way you think and give yourself a chance.
Imagine we raise our daughters in a world where we teach them about exercise & nutrition as a means to empower their bodies and show them how strong they can be.
Not as a means to “lose weight” or be “skinny”.
But to build strength, be healthy and have amazing confidence.
Weekends are hard. That’s where most people struggle to stay on plan.
Remember the 80/20 rule next weekend.
It’ll make a world of a difference.
30 days in a month...stay on plan for 24 and enjoy a treat with the other 6.
More sustainable than being perfect for 30 days.
In ten years from now...what do you think will matter most to you?
The number on the scale and what weight you are at?
OR how strong you have become, how comfortable you are with your body, the relationship you have with your food.
What will truly matter...think about it 💕
Embrace the phase you’re in.
Make it a daily practice of acknowledging where you are at.
Don’t overwhelm yourself by looking too far ahead and setting high goals.
Set those goals...but be real with yourself and where you are at.
You will get there 💕
It’s important to remember that you can start from zero.
That you don’t need any fitness experience...or nutrition experience.
That it’s about showing up for yourself and starting.
Regardless of where that start point is.
Stop focusing on wanting to lose ‘X’ amount of lbs.
Focus on building healthy habits...ones you can stick to and stay consistent with.
Trust the process and you will find yourself becoming stronger and feeling your best.
Weight is just a number...don’t let it consume you 💕
Stop complicating things.
Focus on:
⁃Good quality sleep
⁃Hydration
⁃Protein & Veggies at all meals
⁃Daily walks
⁃CONSISTENCY
Do these and see the changes happen 🙌🏻
Start you day off with positive affirmations.
Envision what you want to accomplish today and be confident.
A fitness journey is difficult. And more when we don’t believe in ourselves.
There’s no quick fix that you’ll find.
It’s believing that you can do it.
If getting on the scale first thing in the morning is throwing your day off..then don’t get on!
Measure your progress by: body measurements, fit of clothes, energy levels.
So many other ways too..throw that scale out and stop letting it control how you feel about yourself 💕
What’s holding you back from your goals?
Are you setting yourself up with unrealistic expectations?
Stop looking at people on social media and hoping to look like them.
You are unique and you should work on creating the best version of YOURSELF.
Not them....but YOU.
Stop with the self-sabotage.
Change your mindset from I can’t to I CAN.
A missed workout or off plan meal doesn’t ruin everything. It’s letting that negative feeling spiral you down a dark road.
CHOOSE to acknowledge what you’ve done, accept it, learn from it...and MOVE ON.
Most struggle with their fitness journeys because they try to do too much from the start.
Start with small consistent changes. Don’t be afraid to keep things simple & build up slowly.
Build up your consistency & confidence. That’s how changes stick.
Calorie deficits are a must when trying to lose weight
But at the same time it’s not only about calories
It’s about your food
The quality
The foods that bring you joy and happiness
The foods that let you connect with people & enjoy your meals
Calorie deficits are not everything
