@joesegal Yes. Homlessness, is just one of some other oncerns that could be ended , just with the redistribution of insanely high amounts of money poured yearly into the military industrial complex. It's disgusting, there is NO humanity in that. Only imperialist greed.

@Joannelhm @AWKWORDrap @Realmommabear Justify themselves to who?
Us? They're not accountable to us. To the person they're beating? They're not accountable to them. To a judge? Qualified immunity, they're not accountable to judges
Cops only have to justify themselves to other cops, they're not accountable to anyone
🚨🚨 Apple says to "protect children," they're updating every iPhone to continuously compare your photos and cloud storage against a secret blacklist. If it finds a hit, they call the cops.
iOS will also tell your parents if you view a nude in iMessage.

@LeeCamp Capitalism turns humans into consumers. We work at underpaid jobs, often with no benefits, in order to buy crap corporations say we need. If we resist & don't partake, government, beholden to donors, bullies us into requiring the crap we don't really need.
@LeeCamp Market capitalism forces people to do things for money they otherwise wouldn't want to do. Like submitting and being stuck working at some boring meaningless bullshit low paying "job" that probably has no reason to exist
@LeeCamp Absolutely right. And by "stealing our souls" it essentially disconnects us from our true "Self", our inner nature.
When we become so detached from nature, we aren't able to sense our increasingly toxic environment until it's too late. We only learn how to turn away from it.
People toil away in a brutal system with their existence only serving others. They never attain their meaning/calling/essence. In this way, Capitalism robs billions of people of their souls.
...But tell me again how it's the best system. 4/4
Spending their lives in wage slavery, many never have the time/energy or even funding to find their essence/passion. Many never even get a chance to explore such a question thoroughly. 3/4
AFL-CIO chief Richard Trumka's sudden death can teach us something. He was a working class man who rose through union ranks via strikes and other boldly militant union actions. 1/3 https://t.co/QcFi1osms4
Hillary Clinton personally blackballed Nina Turner because she thinks Nina deserves to be punished for supporting Bernie and everyone is posting kayfabe as if that's not what happened.
To meet rising demand employers can raise prices & sell the same product quantity, or keep prices stable, sell more product & generate jobs. In capitalism, employers alone decide. Employees affected by those decisions are excluded from making them. Capitalism is not democratic.
@IDontEvenNooh42 We can't change a damn thing through our voting system,which is set up to keep any other parties than the Dems and Republicans , out of the picture.
