✅ نیک فراری: تو خودت را به یک برند خبری تبدیل کردی. چطور این کار را کردی؟

🔺 مهدی حسن: کمی شانس، حمایت بینندگان و خوانندگان، و فرصت‌هایی که پیش آمد. الان دوران ترسناکی است و بعضی از ما فقط سعی می‌کنیم به این دوران پاسخ بدهیم.

✅ نیک فراری: زتیو بریتانیا دقیقا چیست؟ می‌خواهی به چه برسی؟

🔺 مهدی حسن: زتیو را بعد از ترک ام‌اس‌ان‌بی‌سی در سال ۲۰۲۴ راه انداختم. در آمریکا خیلی موفق بوده. بیش از دو میلیون مشترک یوتیوب داریم. با نمایندگان و سناتورها مصاحبه می‌کنیم و مستند می‌سازیم. گفتم چرا همین کار را در بریتانیا نکنیم؟ زادگاه من است. مشترکان بریتانیایی می‌گفتند فکر می‌کنی سیاست آمریکا دیوانه است، برگرد اینجا ببین چه خبر است. چهار نخست‌وزیر در چهار سال. امشب رسماً در بریتانیا شروع می‌کنیم. ایده ما این است که روایتی پیشروتر و رک‌تر از خبر به مردم بدهیم.

✅ نیک فراری: روی چه چیزی دست گذاشتی؟

🔺 مهدی حسن: مردم نه فقط از طبقه سیاسی، از طبقه رسانه‌ای هم سرخورده‌اند. دوست ندارند تحقیر شوند. دوست ندارند با تعارف حرف بزنند. نمی‌خواهند پشت پوشش تنبل «هر دو طرف» پنهان شوید. می‌خواهند حقیقت را بشنوند.

✅ نیک فراری: حقیقت و دروغ را چطور تشخیص می‌دهی؟

🔺 مهدی حسن: آمریکا الان خیلی فرق دارد. رئیس‌جمهور هر روز دروغ های بسیاری می گوید و ما می‌مانیم امروز کدام را فکت‌چک کنیم.

✅ نیک فراری: وقتی نخست‌وزیرهای ما همین کار را می‌کردند معمولاً گیرشان می‌آوردیم. بوریس را گرفتیم، لیز تراس را گرفتیم. ترامپ را نه. چرا؟

🔺 مهدی حسن: این سؤال را تا دم مرگ با خودم می‌برم. ۲۰۱۶ را می‌پذیرم. مردم از هیلاری عصبانی بودند و می‌خواستند همه‌چیز را بسوزانند. ستاره تلویزیون بود، یک شانس به او دادند. اما بعد از دوره اول، کرونا، استیضاح و ششم ژانویه، دوباره در ۲۰۲۴ انتخابش کردند. این دیگر عجیب است. محبوبیتش سقوط کرده. دور و بر ۳۲-۳۳ درصد رضایت دارد و در میان‌دوره‌ای کتک سنگینی می‌خورد.

✅ نیک فراری: یعنی حسابی می‌خورد؟

🔺 مهدی حسن: فکر می‌کنم بله. هر کاری می‌کند که جلویش را بگیرد. رأی پستی را محدود می‌کند، حوزه‌ها را دستکاری می‌کند، هر کاری دور لبه‌ها که انتخابات آزاد سخت‌تر شود.

✅ نیک فراری: آن چک پنج‌هزار دلاری؟ رشوه است؟

🔺 مهدی حسن: حتی رشوه هم نیست، چون رشوه حداقل امیدی به اجرا دارد. هر کس فکر می‌کند از ترامپ چک پنج‌هزار دلاری می‌گیرد، من یک پل در بروکلین به او می‌فروشم. پارسال گفت چک ۲۵ هزار دلاری دوج می‌دهم، بعد گفت چک تعرفه، حالا می‌گوید پنج هزار دلار. هیچ پولی نمی‌دهد. می‌داند اقتصاد دلیل شکستش است. کسانی مثل من ترامپ را به‌خاطر حمله به دموکراسی، حمله به ایران و مهاجران دوست ندارند. اما دلیل اصلی رأی آمریکایی‌ها علیه او اقتصاد خراب است. بنزین در بالاترین حد است، تورم و بیکاری بالاتر از زمان تحویل دولت.

✅ نیک فراری: ایران را جا انداختی.

🔺 مهدی حسن: سال‌های بعد معلوم می‌شود کار خودش بود یا نتانیاهو. ولی نمی‌شود فقط نتانیاهو را مقصر دانست. او رئیس‌جمهور آمریکاست و باید مالک این جنگ باشد. می‌توانست بگوید مأموریت انجام شد، بردیم و برگردد خانه. اگر تمام شود حتی به او اجازه می‌دادم تظاهر کند برده. ولی همین را هم نمی‌کند. می‌گوید شاید بعد از میان‌دوره‌ای تشدید کند. حالا می‌گویند اگر تنگه هرمز باز شود برده‌ایم. قبل از جنگ هم باز بود. این پیروزی نیست.

✅ نیک فراری: پایگاهش محکم است یا دارد آب می‌رود؟

🔺 مهدی حسن: پایگاهش محکم است. تو می‌گویی پایگاه، من می‌گویم فرقه. در کنوانسیون دالاس مردم سوگند شخصی به او خوردند که بزرگ‌ترین رئیس‌جمهور تاریخ آمریکاست. ویدیویی پخش شد که خدا ترامپ را انتخاب کرد تا نگهبان زمین باشد. حتی نایجل فاراژ هم چنین حرفی نمی‌زند.

✅ نیک فراری: اصلاح بریتانیا ۷۲ میلیون پوند در حسابش دارد. این از نظر تو چیست؟

🔺 مهدی حسن: هشدار از آن طرف اقیانوس: خطرناک‌ترین جاده‌ای که می‌توانیم از آمریکا وارد شویم، جاده پول در سیاست است. به الیگارشی و فاشیسم می‌رسد. مردم از دموکراسی خارج می‌شوند. اگر یک رأی من مهم نباشد چون یک نفر ده‌ها میلیون می‌دهد، حکومت مردم کجاست؟

✅ نیک فراری: کجا خوشحال‌تری؟ وستمینستر یا واشنگتن؟

🔺 مهدی حسن: الان در آمریکا راضی‌ام. لندن را دلم تنگ می‌شود، ولی آمریکا برای کارم خوب بوده. سرزمین فرصت است، هرچند مشکلات و نابرابری و نژادپرستی زیاد دارد. ۲٫۲ میلیون مشترک یوتیوب داریم و حدود ۷۰۰ هزار نفر در ساب‌استک. در بریتانیا هم در چند ماه به ۵۰ هزار مشترک رسیده‌ایم.

✅ نیک فراری: درباره هوش مصنوعی. فکر می‌کنی رؤسای این صنعت حاضرند مهار شوند؟

🔺 مهدی حسن: مثل ژانویه ۲۰۲۰ است که می‌گفتند ویروسی از چین می‌آید و کسی جدی نگرفت. رئیس‌جمهور همان موقع هم ترامپ بود. او گفته مشکلی با هوش مصنوعی نیست، چون می‌ترسد از چین عقب بماند. موضع احمقانه‌ای است. ادعا می‌کند بهترین دوست شی جین‌پینگ است. چرا با او معامله نمی‌کند؟ اگر دنیا را نجات بدهد، نوبل صلح را به او بدهید. با برنی سندرز موافقم: این چیز را متوقف کنید تا مقررات بیاید. چرا باید ۱۰ درصد احتمال پایان بشریت تا ۲۰۳۰ را بپذیریم؟

✅ نیک فراری: هفته پیش سالگرد یازده سپتامبر بود. ترامپ به نیویورک نرفت. چرا؟

🔺 مهدی حسن: به او گفتند در مراسم نمی‌تواند سخنرانی کند. ترامپ فقط به خودش فکر می‌کند، نه به سه هزار کشته. قهر کرد و رفت واشنگتن و گفت به‌خاطر یازده سپتامبر در ایران می‌جنگیم. در آن هواپیماها هیچ ایرانی نبود؛ پانزده سعودی، دو اماراتی، یک مصری و یک لبنانی بودند. تازه وسط مراسم هم خوابش برد.

✅ نیک فراری: بعد از او رهبر بعدی جمهوری‌خواهان کیست؟

🔺 مهدی حسن: نمی‌دانم. ترس من این است که کسی بعد از او نیاید، چون نمی‌گذارد کسی بیاید. می‌گوید شوخی می‌کنم که دوره سوم می‌خواهم. با ترامپ هیچ‌چیز فقط شوخی نیست. اگر بخواهد، به بهانه امنیت ملی و جنگ این کار را می‌کند. اخیراً گفت زلنسکی هم به‌خاطر جنگ انتخابات را عقب انداخت. فکر نمی‌کنم بشود، ولی درباره ترامپ هیچ‌چیز را رد نمی‌کنم.

دوازده سال دیگر که ببینمت خودت رئیس‌جمهور شده‌ای؟

🔺 مهدی حسن: قانون اساسی مرا منع می‌کند. ولی اگر همه قانون اساسی را نقض می‌کنند، چرا من نه؟ شوخی کردم.

Shadow World Investigations (SWI) and Paul Holden - author of The Fraud: Keir Starmer, Morgan McSweeney and the Crisis of British Democracy – are today announcing a new investigative project about the transformation of the Parliamentary Labour Party (PLP) under the Labour Together Project.

This long-germinating project is soliciting evidence about how Labour Party processes were used (and abused) to manipulate the selection of Labour MP candidates who now make up the majority of the PLP.

Sir Keir Starmer was the frontman for a scandalous political project that spent the best part of a decade remaking the Labour Party along rigidly factional and exclusionary lines.

The most consequential transformation was of the Parliamentary Labour Party.

Two thirds of the Labour MPs currently sitting in the House of Commons were selected through a process tightly controlled by Morgan McSweeney and his allies, allegedly with direct (albeit informal) input from Peter Mandelson. Labour Together, and its key donors, then spent over £2 million on getting this intake of MPs elected.

The selection process that McSweeney oversaw was beset by allegations of misconduct and irregularities so widespread that veteran journalist Michael Crick warned of potential ‘corruption’. One MP selection has resulted in criminal charges being filed against Labour officials.

These are the MPs that not just determine the future of the country but will play a key role in either making or breaking the political fortunes of whoever next succeeds Starmer.

In a follow up to The Fraud, SWI, Paul Holden and Jessica Murray will be embarking upon ‘The Labour Together Parliament’ project to examine the legitimacy of the process that resulted in the current Parliament, upon which any Labour government will rest.

What we need as a first step is information.

We would like evidence of any wrongdoing or stitch-ups during the selection process. We would like to build a collection of evidence about the ways in which bureaucrats forced through or manipulated the selection process, including in the finalisation of longlists and shortlists, and, where it happened, the decision being removed from local democratic decision making altogether.

We are particularly interested in the vote tallies from every Labour candidate selection between 2022 and 2024. These have not been routinely published.

We are particularly interested in tallies that distinguish between postal/online/and in-person votes. These different vote tallies would have been provided to losing candidates. Sometimes they were only read out in selection meetings. We are not only looking for results that seem ‘dodgy’ – but all vote tallies, including those that are not in the least suspicious. This will allow us to build a holistic database and rigorously test different hypotheses.

We would also like tallies from candidate selections in seats that weren’t Labour targets and didn’t result in any MP. Ideally, it would be great if we could be provided with contemporaneous evidence of these vote tallies – such as a screenshot of a message or email relaying the result.

We would also be interested in narrowing down which CLPs used Anonyvoter for MP selection, even if the vote tallies are not available.
