Man Fatally Mauled by Tiger After Jumping Into Enclosure at Yorkshire Wildlife Park in England

[Verax @veraxlab]

Peter Thiel spent about $10 million in secret to wipe out a media company that had outed him. His weapon was Hulk Hogan's sex tape.

In the video below, Thiel explains why he did it.

"If you make a sex tape of someone with their permission, you are a pornographer. If you make a sex tape without their permission, we were told, now you are a journalist."

It started in 2007. A Gawker blog ran a headline: "Peter Thiel is totally gay, people." He later called that blog the Silicon Valley equivalent of Al Qaeda.

In 2012, Gawker posted a clip of Hulk Hogan having sex with his best friend's wife.

Hogan sued. Nobody knew who was paying his lawyers.

In 2016 a Florida jury awarded him $140 million. Gawker went bankrupt and was sold for $135 million.

Only then did the name come out. Thiel said it was "less about revenge and more about specific deterrence," and called it "one of my greater philanthropic things that I've done."

Hogan settled for $31 million. Thiel's name never came up at the trial.

About $10 million in legal fees, and a company that spent years exposing the rich was gone.

Was it justice for a man whose bedroom was put on the internet, or a billionaire using his money to kill the press?

Guys, I hate to say it but this isn’t the first red flag this groom has seen.

Chances are that they’ve dated for at least two years and he has observed her toxic behavior. Yet, he did nothing.

He deserves what comes next. I don’t feel bad for him. This is peak soy boy behavior.

🚨TIGER ATTACK UPDATE #2 with significant blood at the scene.

Witnesses reportedly TRIED TO STOP the man before he entered the enclosure. Moments later, a tiger had him by the neck.

New details are emerging from the deadly attack at Yorkshire Wildlife Park in England.

The tiger has reportedly been identified as Altai, a 5-year-old Amur tiger brought to the park from Norway in 2025.

Witnesses say the man appeared to be psyching himself up near the viewing platform before allegedly climbing over a barrier. One woman can reportedly be heard saying she tried to stop him.

What happened next was horrifying.

Visitors, including families with young children, watched as the tiger repeatedly lunged at the man, eventually grabbing him by the neck and dragging him across the enclosure.

Witnesses described significant blood at the scene. People shouted in an attempt to distract the animal.

Park rangers reportedly fired TWO warning shots to scare the tiger away. Altai retreated and was secured.

Emergency crews, including an air ambulance, responded, but the man died at the scene.

Police have NOT identified him publicly or established why he entered the enclosure.

The tiger was unharmed and reportedly will NOT be euthanized. The park remains closed through Sunday.

Authorities are still investigating exactly how and why this tragedy happened.

The witness accounts, Altai’s identification and the two warning shots are reported details, not all independently confirmed by police.

Dear @grok, how did the man who has died after a tiger attack at Yorkshire Wildlife Park in England access the enclosed space for tigers? Did the tiger jump over its enclosure? Was the enclosure poorly demarcated?

What's the real story?

A south African friend shared this. Now i understand why everyone wants to move to South Africa.

We all love developed nations and societies. I'd love to live in China but i fear racism. Am more likely to slap and fight a racist than keeping quiet and bottling it up.

I really admired how fair the judge was completely impartial toward both sides and simply applying the law as it should be.

JUST IN: YouTube, Meta, TikTok and even Elon Musk’s own X have reportedly REJECTED paid ads for the trailer of a new documentary about Musk, citing political content.

The trailer itself is still available to watch, but distributor Bleecker Street says the platforms would not approve it as a paid promotion. The company is appealing the decisions outside of X.
