#Breaking | Major recovery from terrorist Aftab Ansari lodged inside Kolkata’s Presidency Jail.

Three smartphones, including an iPhone, SIM cards, two Wi-Fi routers, wireless earphones & Rs. 31,000 cash have reportedly been recovered from him.

Ansari is the mastermind of the 2002 American Center terror attack in Kolkata, in which several Kolkata Police personnel were killed. He is currently serving a life sentence at Presidency Jail.

Sources say a special search operation was conducted inside Ansari’s cell on August 23 by a team of jail officials, including the superintendent. The devices, SIM cards & cash were recovered during the operation.

The recovery of multiple smartphones, SIM cards and Wi-Fi routers from a high-security prisoner has raised serious questions about how the devices reached Ansari & whether anyone inside the prison facilitated their entry.

An FIR has been registered at Hastings Police Station by the jail authorities. Police are investigating Ansari’s recent activities and the circumstances under which the electronic devices allegedly reached him.

The seizure has raised fresh questions over prison security, possible external contacts and Ansari’s activities while serving his life sentence. Investigation underway.

820,000+ EVACUATED AS TYPHOON SAUDEL SLAMS CHINA TWICE

Typhoon Saudel has now made landfall in China twice.

The storm first came ashore near Taizhou Friday morning before making a second landfall near Wenzhou just over an hour later.

And the scale of the response is massive.

More than 820,000 people were evacuated in Wenzhou alone as torrential rain, powerful winds and dangerous coastal conditions moved across eastern China.

Train services were suspended, ferry routes were shut down and additional evacuations were ordered as the storm pushed inland.

This is no longer a developing threat.

Saudel is now onshore, and hundreds of thousands of people have already been moved out of harm’s way.
