I’m afraid of that stuff
But it’s part of who I am
As long as I know the shape of my soul...
~I’ll be alright~

[lex rose 🌹 @mindfully_lex]

hi all 🤍
I’m so grateful to have made daily choices and rituals that make me feel good. This is the happiest, healthiest and the most conscientious I’ve ever been. Showing up for me so I can show up in all areas of my life.

My wife and I sold a large 4 bedroom house on the west coast to do this and be close to my aging parents.

We just offered on a small cottage half the size of the last house. It sits on 5 acres. 10 min drive to my folks.

None of our friends understand.

They do not have to.

[Ryan B. Anderson @OldHollowTree]

We did it.

Today we closed on the 65 acres of maple, pine, and birch forest surrounding my childhood home. The forest where I learned to hunt, forage, and hike. The forest where I find mushrooms with my father. The forest where I proposed to my wife.

It is secured forever.
