The issue w/ standardized tests is not that a well designed test couldn’t be used as a benchmark every few years. The issue is the hundreds of questionable tests we use through preK-12 that deter learning because we’re always preparing for tests, practice testing, or testing.

We teach students about boundaries, but few boundaries are given to teachers.Teachers can’t be expected to be available 24/7 for meetings, calls, emails etc. even if they’re teaching remotely. This type of expectations shows a lack of concern for their mental & emotional health.
