If anyone knows how to fix this in #uefn please let me know. In island Settings, i"m using the "Structure, team setting, on 2 (which switches per round)", so it switches which team your on (cars VS RPGs).
@GCU__Arbitrary I thought that i had that before, i've just updated my privacy settings so it should now show hopefully... Not sure why it was enabled in the first place...
@GCU__Arbitrary@box_uk87917@aelluswamy@Tesla@elonmusk Ye watching these clips makes me wonder how it'll perform in difficult situations for when we drive around in the UK, at certain junctions etc. I just wish i was able to be a Safety Monitor working for Tesla lol.
@box_uk87917@GCU__Arbitrary@aelluswamy Yep, they are likely cooking something up. Just a waiting game, believe it or not i don't even own any Tesla vehicles or items just yet, but I'm just so passionate about the software/technology and the fact on how life saving it can be for both customs and the public.
@box_uk87917@GCU__Arbitrary@aelluswamy Agreed, im not saying that it's not been mentioned. Im just saying that i feel Tesla has indeed been in talks with the UK's VCA and other authorities about this subject.
@GCU__Arbitrary@box_uk87917@aelluswamy I agree - it's bad how long it takes, generally speaking the main thing to focus on is the EU Article 39 exception (for EU) and the VCA's type approval exemption + DfT approval for Tesla's ADAS system in the UK.
@box_uk87917@GCU__Arbitrary@aelluswamy Ye, im not saying that tesla has applied directly, it mentions "No public confirmation exists", which is correct. No one publically knows if they have applied or not.
@GCU__Arbitrary@box_uk87917@aelluswamy Kinda ye, they want FSD to be ADAS, and not a level 3 software just yet, they either need to apply to the VCA with it, or wait for the result from if they have applied. No one publicly knows if they have applied.
@box_uk87917@GCU__Arbitrary@aelluswamy Well no one publically knows if they have or not. They likely have, if they haven't they are activity getting data from customers cars for this via the VCA.
@box_uk87917@GCU__Arbitrary@aelluswamy I believe they have already or are at least actively getting the data for the VCA. Blue Cruise is basically geofenced areas on certain motorways/highways. Since FSD is ADAS and not Automated Vehicles.
@GCU__Arbitrary@box_uk87917@aelluswamy Depends on what Tesla is trying to get approval for. The UN are rules it needs to follow
The UK's expected route: via possible exemptions to ADAS via a Formal Application to VCA followed by Safety Demonstration & Testing, then Approval. Similar to the EU's Article 39 exception.
@GCU__Arbitrary@box_uk87917@aelluswamy I feel you lol. Steering Wheel Nags: Driver readiness / Stricter monitoring, Steering Angle (UN R79): Stops system overpowering driver input, Driver Confirmation for Lane Changes (UN R79/R171): Limits fully automatic changes, Speed & Behavior: Safety Regulation
@GCU__Arbitrary@aelluswamy@Tesla@elonmusk Ye I saw this too when it first got released on 2 June. What's being spoke about is wanting Tesla to change FSD "a version of Teslaโs FSD (Supervised) to come to roads in the UK", which tesla wants FSD without other regulations like Steering angles, which is effecting autopilot
@box_uk87917@GCU__Arbitrary@aelluswamy Was released on 2nd June, It's speaking about "a version of Teslaโs FSD (Supervised) to come to roads in the UK" once changes are in place, tesla wants FSD to work without having other regulations like Steering angles, which is currently in place affecting Autopilot currently.
@GCU__Arbitrary@aelluswamy Additionally, owners see much higher car internet uploads (video feeds) To Tesla for improvements. And Tesla had multiple videos publicly released about UK FSD on testing vehicles preforming really well about a year old now (Swindonโs magic roundabout + London roads).
@GCU__Arbitrary@aelluswamy Itโs hard for me to argue they havenโt applied for it when it is yellow. UK FSD is waiting on the VCA (Vehicle Certification Agency) to handle the type approval, then Department for Transport for the final say. People say not enough UK data, but Teslaโs been improving UK FSD.
@nikitabier X suggestion: Are we able to get Automated translations in captions of videos. Seen multiple videos where I just swipe off the post iโm interested in since I canโt understand it. Feel itโll be good for a lot of people using X daily.
